Pet Friendly L ' Ecureuil 3 Étoiles

We stayed for nearly 2 weeks during June in this well-appointed chalet. The huge deck at the front is a wonderful place to sit and relax, although we needed the parasol in the daytime and warm jackets at night when we sat out watching the stars. Danny was very welcoming and provided some home-made treats in the kitchen when we arrived. The area is interesting, with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, water sports or just taking in the amazing mountain views.

This quaint property is snuggled up to the grassy hillside of the owner's home. The gardens are lovely and filled with peonies. Dany and her husband are gentle and kind people. My husband and I rented the chalet for a week in late April. We were lucky enough to see the apple trees blossom. The chalet is immaculate. The kitchen has everything that anyone would need to prepare a meal. The weather was cool so we did not spend a lot of time on the porch. It would be a paradise in the summer. As most French homes are designed, the living room has the dining table and a small sofa. When we arrived, a beautiful bouquet of fresh peonies was arranged on the kitchen table. What a perfect way to welcome guests. Also, Dany's yummy treats of jams and goodies were waiting for us to be consumed. The refrigerator is a nice size and not tiny like many rentals have. Thank-you Dany and Robert for making our French vacation feel better than home!
