La Demeure Tout était parfait merci

La Demeure Absolutely gorgeous place. Pool lovely. BBQ great. Outdoor and indoor eating areas. Remote location so car absolutely necessary to reach shops ect, and no restaurants close by. Not super flexible with check in time. We were only able to check in at 5pm which seems late, but good communication!!

The garden is a true highlight. It is big and very beautiful. Unfortunately the lights didn't work during our stay and in three weeks nobody managed to fix it.It was very hot and to have this parking spots in the shadow is worth a lot. The house is spacious and nice - on one side. The master bedroom and bathroom are gorgeous. the living room and office are also nice. The kitchen shows some signs of wear. there are lost of plates, but almost no mugs or bowls. And never two of the same kind. It looks like someone wanted to get rid of old porcelaine.But still okay as a kitchen. The other bedrooms are a bit special in the choice of furniture and wall-colour. You better like screaming green. On the positive side: - big nice garden - nice pool - agency very responsive, friendly and fast - near Bordeaux and good spot to visit the wine regions: Easy to get around. - near shops and restaurants in St. Loubes (car needed) - master bedroom and its bathroom (perfect shower) on the less nicer side: - there is a huge electricity pole almost inside the garden. Just behind the house. It has been photoshopped on the pictures! - even though close to the vineyards and Bordeaux, it lays in an industrial zone. Once inside you forget about it, but driving towards it is not nice. - the smell. It is close to the river and old. The smell is a bit stale. Also one of the bedrooms could not be used due to the very strong smell in the bathroom. Luckily we did not need it.

There were spider webs, dust and dirt all over. There was even still toothpaste spots in the bathroom. Bbq not clean, tv not working, lounge seats dirty, dog hair,…. It felt like it had been closed for a long time and smelled very moist. Not a good holiday vibe Nothing was prepared for our arrival, the so called outdoor kitchen was more like a garage, full of stuff from the owner. The ...

La Demeure House and garden were beautiful. We did want it secluded but would recommended having a car. Communal areas were very good for large groups. Marcia was very helpful and a great host.

La Demeure Una pena que la piscina no estuviese limpia, pero tanto la ubicación como los servicios de la casa eran estupendos, el jardín es extraordinario para ir con mascotas como fuimos nosotros. El entorno era espectacular pero al estar próximos al río había malos olores en los baños. Por lo demás un alojamiento tranquilo, amplio, con todos los servicios necesarios. Ok vería sin ninguna duda.

Contacts parfaits avec l'agence. Intérieur de la maison impeccable à notre arrivée. La maison, la propriété et la Dordogne...sont splendides et immenses, et à deux pas de Bordeaux. C'était un moment et un lieu (à la fois plein d'originalité, d'authenticité, de chaleur, de qualité mêlée d'un très grand "chic"...magnifique!) géniaux pour notre famille de 9 personnes. Quelques petits bémols : - Les pylones...il serait mieux de prévenir, même si on les oublie vite... - L'état de la piscine à notre arrivée. - Manque quelques ustensiles de grande taille en cuisine (autocuiseur, par exemple), pour des grandes familles comme la nôtre... - C'est bien normal pour une grande maison comme celle-là, mais il y a quelques petites choses (ou la table de salle à manger) qu'il faudrait réparer (prises de courant, pommeau de douche...). Mais rien de grave. Et il ne faudrait pas retenir cela, mais y courir! Et vous remercier pour nous avoir permis d'en profiter!

A beautiful house and garden with a lovely pool, on the banks of the Dordogne, ideal for families or group of friends. Stunning master bedroom and ensuite (you’ll fight for it), plus 2 other decent bedrooms with ensuites and a kids bedroom. Lovely living areas. Functional kitchen. Furnished to very high standard - BO av equipment etc. Showing some wear and tear from previous tenants but nothing that really gets in the way. 10 mins from a small town with some good restaurants, Boulangerie etc, and 10 mins from a great hypermarche. Easy to get to Bordeaux and the wine regions. We had a wonderful time.
