Pet Friendly Large Cottage in Pleasant Setting

Both Jacqueline and Sonia made us feel very welcome for our six week vacation from December 2026 until January 2026.They excelled themselves in making sure that we had everything that we needed and even put up Christmas decorations before our arrival. Upon enquiring as to where we could purchase a Christmas tree, one magically appeared.Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted with homemade apple cider, chocolates and walnuts.During our stay, we were given their farm fresh eggs.

Jaqueline is the ultimate host who clearly loves having guests to stay at her beautiful property in the stunning Normandy countryside. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived, Jaqueline is charming and was keen to make us feel at home. During our stay we enjoyed chatting with Jaqueline, she made every effort to enhance our stay by telling us about different places to visit and recommended the best shops and restaurants. The property is in a great location, peaceful and pretty it is the perfect place to unwind and relax whilst still being close to lively towns and villages and the wonderful Mont San Michel. The local shop/bar was great, fun friendly owners with a good sense of humour putting up with our terrible French! There were plenty of clean beds in decent sized bedrooms, we all slept very well. The kitchens were well equipped with everything you might need, ample space for cooking and enough tables and chairs, inside and out to have meals together. We used quite a few of the bicycles most days, it was fun cycling around the countryside. It is a truly idyllic place to stay with a genuine and generous host.

We highly enjoyed our stay and Mrs. Jacqueline G. is a very kind host. The location was great and the hause was spacious with nice outdoor extras. We would highly recommend it and would love to return.
