Pet Friendly Late XIX Century Character House

La Tirantaine exceeded our expectations. It is in a lovely rural location, yet only a short drive to shops. Outside, the pool proved to be a hit for all three generations. There are also plenty of chairs for relaxation and a table large enough for the family. Inside it is spacious, equipped to an exceptionally high standard, with the pool table and home cinema well used. The bedrooms on the second floor (lift available) are also spacious and all 5 en suite. We wanted for nothing and any minor queries we had were answered quickly. We also appreciated Philippe’s suggestions for nearby restaurants. In summary, a wonderful holiday.

Phillipe’s home exceeded expectations. The pictures do not do this property justice, it is remarkable. The interior and exterior were so well set up for adults and children, it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms were all very spacious. The area was superb with many small towns so close by. Would absolutely return. Phillipe was so lovely to deal with as well, 10/10.

This property was not a typical holiday let. It was the beautiful home created by the Owner with interesting architectural features and tastefully furnished. We have visited France for the last 7 years thro' Home Away /VRBO and the properties have been of a high standard - this was the best yet. it even included a heated water pool.

We have been waiting for this holiday for a long time and it did not disappoint. It was perfect! Very Spacious, beautiful and the pool was wonderful especially during the very long hot days. Kiss ‘the horse’ was a lovely surprise and enjoyed many carrots. Shops are not too far away and there was a lovely restaurant in the near by village where they managed to fit all 10 of us in and we ate well! Would recommend bug spray thou if outside a lot - not the fault of the house or owners thou. Would recommend a stay here if you want to reconnect with the family.

This home was better than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. There are a lot of pictures of the outside, and we spent a lot of time in the garden and pool. The house is absolutely beautiful and the interior as well. It has been loving the restored and beautifully decorated. It is a home from 1840 and even though we had a heat wave of 43 degrees Celsius, the thick walls helped to keep it cool. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and each bedroom is quite large and has bedding and mattresses that are very comfortable. The elevator comes in handy with luggage and kitchen is extremely well stocked. We had a great time.

La maison est parfaite! Il n'y a rien à redire et nous avons passé les meilleures vacances !

Magnifique maison très bien équipée située au milieu des vignes . Le calme absolu à quelques kms de toutes les commodités. Malgré une météo un peu mitigée lors de notre semaine, nous avons pu profiter de tout ce que la maison propose: billard, salle de cinéma, ping-pong….. et la piscine chauffée est hyper agréable. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Pour couronner le tout , les propriétaires sont d’une extrême gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cette maison!!
