Pet Friendly Le Mas La Grange

We stayed a week with friends in this house in Montauroux. The house is big and well equipped. The pool was nice and came in good use as it was extremely hot. Just a five minute walk from the house is a small square with a small supermarket, restaurants and bakeries.Unfortunately the house, in our opinion, did not measure up to the very high reviews. When we arrived we noticed that the lawn had not been trimmed, nor had the leaves from the olive trees and other trees been swept away, they covered the entire front and pool area. I understand that as soon as you sweep them away, new will come but it would have been a bit more welcoming if that had been done. Instead we did it our selves. This was something we didn’t mention to the manager, it was what it was. However, when we opened the houses, especially the main house, we were met with a heavy musky smell. The smell stayed all week and were most prominent in one of the bedrooms. Our hair and clothes smelled very badly and it didn’t feel good to let our children sleep in the bedroom so they took turns sleeping with the parents which was a struggle as they are teenagers and not small kids. Unfortunately this made our stay less pleasant. The manager was very nice to talk to and easy to get hold of. Although they kindly offered us a refund

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cette propriété provençale pleine de charme ! Elle est idéalement située pour découvrir et randonner dans le pays de Fayence et le massif de l'Esterel ! A l'arrière saison la nature est magnifique ! Les 2 maisons sont très bien équipées, spacieuses, confortables. Les extérieurs sont supers également ! Rien à redire, tout était parfait !

Wir haben knapp zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Alles war sehr sauber, gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sowohl die Küche innen, als auch die Outdoor Küche waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hatte im Nebenhaus sogar noch eine dritte Küche gegeben, die wir aber nicht benötigt haben. Im Haupthaus sind zwei schöne Schlafzimmer und an das Wohnzimmer ist auch noch ein Bürobereich mit potentieller Schlafgelegenheit angeschlossen. Im Nebenhaus haben unsere 4 Kinder geschlafen. Das ging gut, da dort nochmal zwei Schlafzimmer (eines als Durchgangszimmer mit Galerie) waren und der Weg zwischen Schlafzimmer im Haupthaus und Nebenhaus sehr nah ist. Das Wohnzimmer war auch sehr gemütlich und es gab einen Fernseher mit DVD Player. WLAN hat auch prima funktioniert. Der Garten ist ein Traum und unser Hund hat es sehr genossen. Der Pool ist auch sehr schön und gepflegt und wird regelmäßig gereinigt, unsere Kinder fanden es super. Auch toll war, dass das Haus am Ende einer kleinen Starße liegt und man es somit sehr ruhig hat. Vom Haus sind es knapp 10Min zu Fuß zum Bäcker. Zum Einkaufen fährt man mit dem Auto ca 10Min den Berg hinunter, aber es gibt auch am Hauptplatz im Ort einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen. Monteauroux selbst ist auch sehr hübsch. Aber man kann auch sehr viel unternhemen. Für Ausflüge ans Meer, an den See oder in die umliegenden Städte hat das Haus eine super Lage. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und herzlich! Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub, wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Je recommande vivement cette location très confortable extrêmement bien équipée et plein de ville à visiter à proximité ! Valérie et Jean Pierre extrêmement accueillant et très sympathique.

Nous avons séjourné en décembre, nous n’avons donc pas profité de la piscine ni de la cuisine d’été, mais nous avons adoré le gîte et sa grande propriété, très confortable et bien équipé, et son calme et son intimité.
