Pet Friendly Spectacular Mediterranean View

The view, peace and quiet on the terrace are exceptional. However, the house or cabin is small (only for 2 people realistically) and rather cluttered with many wicker chairs, cabinets, etc. The bed is uncomfortable and a challenge to get in and out (140 cm in a room 180 cm wide). Appliances are new, but overall it is time to invest in bath and bedrooms, given the price.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu, son calme, sa terrasse avec la vue magnifique sur la baie de St Cyr / La Ciotat. L’ endroit est idéal pour se retirer du tumulte habituel du bord de mer. La maison, au charme suranné et rustique offre cependant l’essentiel pour un séjour réussi, et nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs en tête. Merci beaucoup Barry !

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt für 5 Tage an diesem wunderbaren Ort der Erholung. Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas älter aber es ist alles da was man braucht. Es gibt Spielsachen für Kinder, Bücher, und der bereits vorhandene Kaffe schmeckte vorzüglich. Die Aussicht lädt zum Träumen ein und nach einem Tag am Meer haben wir beim Abendessen den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Wenn es dunkel wurde waren die Sterne gut zu sehen. Danke das alles so gut geklapt hat. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. La propriété est exceptionnellement, merveilleusement bien placée. Le cabanon est resté dans son jus et c'est tant mieux. Il ne manque rien. Tout a été pensé pour que vous puissiez passer de très bonnes vacances. La literie du grand lit est bonne. Le cabanon est isolé de la vue de tous, la grandeur du jardin vous permet de n'avoir aucun vis à vis. Et que dire de la vue, extraordinaire, merveilleuse, à vous laisser sans voix. Je cherche un point négatif car il en faut toujours un ! mais rien ne me vient. Surtout ne changez rien ! Nous reviendrons dès que possible ...

We stayed for ten days in April last year and we found it delightful. It's a small, charming cottage with two bedrooms that's very attractively furnished in bright colours and rattan, very Mediterranean feeling. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is adequate, with a shower, bidet, etc. The beauty of the place is the terrace with the view of the Mediterranean. We met some locals who told us that this house has the best view of the area. The owners have kept it as natural as possible, so that you enter via a pathway through a wooded area that keeps it totally private from the road, and come upon a spectacular sweeping view of the Mediterranean. We spent almost the entire time outside on the terrace and had all our meals there, even though, being April, it was sometimes a bit cool. We imagine it is wonderful when the weather is very hot, as it seems to be cooler there than in the villages and towns or in the valley. We toured a bit, and came across some of the most gorgeous sites we've ever seen--the Route des Cretes between La Ciotat and Cassis, and the Grand Canyon du Verdon, about two hours' drive north through some of the most charming villages and countryside. Thoroughly recommended for young and old!
