Petit chalet individuel de caractère

We are a Franco-American family who loves the French Alps. We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet hosted by Herve and Karine. The sleeping arrangement were atypical but very comfortable, luxurious, clean and quiet. We came from Florida to escape the 90 degree Fahrenheit summer temperatures and we were not at all disappointed. Even though France was going through a heat wave the temperature here was 70 during the day and 50 at night degrees Fahrenheit or 20 and 11 degrees centigrade. The trails were wonderful we saw many authentic farms and farm animals along the trails. The people we met along the way were very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The Boulangerie and supermarket were both close by within 2 km and we enjoyed walking to both for our daily fresh food purchases. Both my wife and I stayed along with our adult daughter and were very happy. I would recommend this Chalet and we will definitely be back in the future.

My husband, 9 month old baby, and I had a wonderful stay in this charming chalet. The host was very welcoming and always responded very quickly to our messages. The location is absolutely perfect for getting around easily to various hikes, restaurants, etc. We were there in spring, which is an absolutely beautiful time to visit. The region has many family friendly walks and lakes to visit. The chalet has everything you need to cook at home so you can enjoy the lovely terrace and garden with your picnics! The interior decor is so charming, we loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay. And thanks to Hervé for the tip on driving up the mountain to hike. The views were primo.

There is everything you could want in the Lodge - very modern and VERY clean. Herve and Karrine are such lovely people and sooo helpful - it was a perfect stay !!! We WILL be back ps the car was repaired and went perfectly!

Very enjoyable place to stay for a couple Warm and well appointed Beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay in Herve and Karin's chalet. Everything we needed for our stay was there and Karin and Herve were lovely hosts. We loved the interior design and layout of the chalet you really did feel as though you were in 5 star accommodation but not at 5 star prices. The chalet really was great value. We loved the alpineness of the chalet with all the hearts and very comfy, cosy feel. Our favourite bits were the surround sound for the TV/DVD player for cosy nights in watching dvds, it was like being at the cinema. We also loved the upstairs and clever interior design with little chalet door into the bedroom and the little chalet window looking back down to the living space below. We really had the perfect week in Herve and Karin's chalet and the perfect week skiing in the megeve area and really wished we could have stayed a lot longer. We didn't want to come home. We plan to go back and totally recommend this chalet for the perfect ski break.

We were delighted with this little chalet. It was immaculate, the decoration was very tasteful and done with great care, the views were lovely, and we had everything we needed, including raclette and fondue sets. The loft sleeping area, accessed by a ladder, was cozy and darling. We all wanted to be up there! It was pleasant to have the TV tucked away in a corner so that we adults could have a drink in peace while our son watched cartoons. Too, the wifi quality was very good. The Rochebrune lifts and the village center are an easy five-minute drive. Hervé and Karine were gracious and reactive. They even offered their help – not once, but twice! – when our city car ran into a couple of snowy/icy scrapes. We’d love to return!
