😢: Not recommended. Very unusual requirements for guests. I decided to book this place because the confirmation for another property was taking longer than expected. Based on the photos, the apartment looked spacious, and having a small kitchen seemed like a nice bonus. In reality, the experience was quite different. The biggest unpleasant surprise was the €300 security deposit. Unfortunately, I overlooked this requirement when booking. Had I noticed it in advance, I would have chosen a different place. The apartment is located in an old building. As soon as you enter the entrance hall, there is a strong sewage smell, and the front door to the building is in poor condition. Before you even get to the apartment, you already feel like you’re staying in a neglected property. The apartment itself also failed to meet my expectations. It was much smaller than the photos suggested. During my stay, the weather was extremely hot, yet the only way to cool down was an old fan. The dishes were also dirty when I checked in. Later, at check-out, it became clear why that might have been the case. The host requires guests to wash the dishes before leaving, so apparently the cleanliness of the kitchenware depends entirely on the previous guests rather than being checked by the cleaning staff. At check-out, the host also required me to take out the trash, even though all the garbage had already been placed in the trash bin. According to him, this is standard practice for all guests. Personally, I find these requirements quite unusual. When I book accommodation through Booking.com, I expect cleaning after check-out to be included in the price, especially when a €300 security deposit is required. In the end, €40 was deducted from my deposit because I did not wash the dishes, did not take out the trash, and left the window open. Closing the window was difficult because a poorly installed curtain rail was blocking it. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience..
