nice appartment. quiet. close to the sea, although we couldn't see it form the house. We were allowed to use a garden wich was to far away from the house, and the garden next to the appartment was the private garden of the owner, so we were not allowed to use that one. The wifi was weak, no problem for the smartphones, but we couldn't use the laptop.

Very charming cottage and friendly and helpful owners with great communication. Everything was as advertised and the short walk to the beach was very beautiful. The large garden was a delight and overall it was very quiet (apart from loud music coming from far away - probably Honfleur - on Saturday night). The nearness of Honfleur was really welcome. Do however visit Villerville as well, it is lovely and definitely less touristic and just as beautiful! All in all very much recommended for the great garden, charming accomodation, nearness and quietness of the beach, the beautiful forest right up the road and the very friendly owners. The check-in was a bit hurried, but we arrived quite late (around 20:00). A few downsides were the very small bathroom (more a shower room) without any curtain - so the floor becomes all wet, the pretty hard mattresses and the many number of cobwebs and (admittedly, very harmless and cute) spiders. No bakery or supermarket is in the neighborhood. A car is really a necessity to get groceries.

A delightful little converted building in large grounds with dramatic gardens, and only a very short walk down to the beach. The property was well situated for the short journey into Honfleur, where we found free parking easy to obtain, and also for a relatively close hypermarket. Only very slight drawbacks were the lack of laundry facilities (despite them being listed amongst facilities on Vrbo) and rather cobwebby ceilings in the beamed bedrooms, which proved rather a problem with a teenager scared of spiders! Very helpful owners though, and we would come back.

Es ist nicht leicht zu finden, dieses kleine, versteckte Häuschen. Aber wenn man es einmal gefunden hat, fühlt man sich sofort im Urlaub. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und der lange Sandstrand ist wirklich nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In dem Häuschen befindet sich alles auf zwei Etagen. Die Wohnküche ist gemütlich und man schaut in den wunderbaren Garten der Vermieter, der allerdings nicht für die Hausgäste zur Verfügung steht. Die Schlafzimmer sind niedlich und die Betten bequem. Das Duschen war ein klein wenig abenteuerlich, denn die Dusche ist in einer Schrägen und in einem sehr kleinen Raum, aber mit etwas Übung konnte man sich behelfen. Wir sind auf jeden Fall sehr erholt und entspannt wieder nach Hause gefahren und haben den Urlaub genossen. Vielen Dank!

Das Häuschen ist wirklich toll gelegen fußläufig zu einem wilden, einsamen Strand. Perfekt zum Entspannen, aber auch für Kinder zum Spielen und Baden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschönes parkähnliches Grundstück mit tollem Ferienhaus. Schlafzimmer liegen auf dem Niveau des Eingangs, Wohnraum/Küche darunter auf Niveau des Gartens der Vermieter. Im Garten kann man wunderbar bei Vogelgezwitscher entspannen, das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Küche recht gut ausgestattet, für ambitioniertere Köche könnten Formen für den Backofen z. B. ergänzt oder mitgebracht werden; Pfannen und Töpfe ausreichend vorhanden. Für heiße Wochen im Sommer evtl. dünne Laken/Decke einpacken, die Decken waren eher von dickerer Qualität. Während unseres Urlaubs war das andere Haus auf dem Grundstück nicht vermietet, so dass wir das riesige Gelände alleine nutzen konnten. Ansonsten findet aber auch jeder ein Plätzchen. Besonders toll war der kurze Weg zum Strand, den man im Juni fast für sich allein hatte, und die unmittelbare Nähe zu den schönen Orten in der Umgebung wie Honfleur etc. Wir würden das Haus auf jeden Fall wieder mieten! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit dort. Falls man etwas verbessern wollte: Bettwäsche in 2x2 m Größe hat kein Gast aus Deutschland. Es wäre super diese ausleihen zu können. Außerdem wäre ein Duschvorhang ungemein praktisch.

We had a great week here. The house was comfortable and the owners very friendly. The beach is a short 5 mins walk down a country path and is very quiet - usually not more than a dozen others to share the large expanse of sand, but sometimes, particularly in late afternoon, we had the whole beach to ourselves. We had pleasant evening meals in the garden at the front of the house. Honfleur is a lovely town too and well placed for trips to other Normandy beaches.
