petit studio proche gare Strasbourg

😊: RIEN!. 😢: Booked at last minute, expected everything to be sent via E-Mail / SMS on how to access the property / details of how to pick up keys etc. This did NOT happen. I got there and found a locked door, so called the number in the booking confirmation (which did not include any details of how to access the building), madame on the phone quickly became very aggressive with me and INSISTED everything I needed was included in the booking confirmation E-Mail, -it was NOT.. Before hanging up on me, she said she was driving and would call me back, -I said OK and went to la Perestroika -(great Gorbachev / Soviet themed bar I always enjoy when I'm I Strasbourg), around the corner to wait for the call that never came. After some forty minutes or so, I called her back only for more of the same back and forth with her getting angry and insisting that there was nothing she could do and that this was all my fault as I'm stupid and can't read an E-Mail, -(she was confusing me with another guest who had booked at 14h00 that afternoon). After several more calls back and forth to two numbers (she also got angry with me for calling once on my Irish number and then my uk line as the other phone was almost out of power, -this is supposedly not allowed?! 🤣), was still getting absolutely nowhere and she just kept hanging up on me and stopped answering the phone soon after and would not respond to SMS messages either. I ended up having to call booking.com customer services and was on hold for over an hour with them, before finally getting to speak with someone who said he would call her. Eventually, after missing most of the France v Spain match, I finally received the E-Mail with the access code for the door and details of where to pick up the key, -after three and a half hours of arriving and having my evening wasted. When I eventually got in, the icing on the cake was the bed collapsing and waking me up in the middle of the night!.

😊: Good quality/price ratio. Spartan apartment, however clean and quite comfortable. 😢: Light control not working, missing garbage basket.

😊: The location is super: very close to the station (3min walk) and the city centre (10min walk). 😢: The lighting: impossible to change the color of the lighting,it was red and very very uncomfortable. The lighting in general is bad. Bed: the duvet cover wasn't clean. Bathroom: there's no sink in the bathroom, you have to use the kitchen sink to wash your face and teeth. The shower is minuscule,no super easy to have a nice shower and it wasn't clean..

😊: The location of the studio is very central and it was very easy to take public transport from there and otherwise get around in town.. 😢: The bed is not very comfortable. And the room is so small that there hardly was place to have food stored or otherwise have other things added to the place needed for cooking.
