Pleasant cottage on the edge of Sarthe

gîte très bien situé et atypique, au calme dans une ruelle au bord de la Sarthe. Randonnées et dépaysement assurés. Très bon accueil de Bruno et de sa femme, sans oublier leurs très bons conseils de visites et de restaurants de la région. Nous reviendrons très certainement en été pour profiter de la magnifique petite terrasse ainsi que du jardin suspendu d'où la vue est splendide. Nos enfants ont adoré cette pause en pleine nature aux couleurs de l'automne. Nous recommandons vivement...

Situated in a beautiful peaceful village, this house has all you need for your vacation. It permits you to take your four legged friend with you. The owner is very friendly and we will definitely have this house in mind for coming vacations in France.

A comfortable, clean and well presented place to stay in this picturesque area. Ideal for days out visiting the many attractive towns and villages close by. We did not meet Bruno personally and so did not benefit from the advice other reviewers have remarked on. For example, where is there a nearby boulangerie......that opens regularly? For me this is a must in France! This gite suited my wife and I well, but I think four people would find it cramped. The stairs to the (attractive) bedroom are unsuitable for the infirm or very young.

Mr Meunier est un hôte sympathique,l accueil parfait. Le gîte est cosy ,il y a tout ce qu il faut et la literie est top ! Le cadre idéal ,nature ,calme +++. Je recommande ce gîte !!

Le propriétaire a été de bon conseil pour nos promenades dans les environs et l'accueil a été très chaleureux (bouteille de vin et rillettes du pays par ailleurs très gouteuses). Si vous voulez vous reposer dans un joli cadre, c'est parfait.

Very comfortable cottage and friendly, helpful owners. Perfectly situated for visits to Alencon, Le Mans and local villages as well as innumerable country walks (which we thoroughly enjoyed). Lots of maps provided. The cottage was immaculately clean and well appointed.
