Hi, we have just has the most wonderful time at this family home in Anglade. Mme Terral was there to meet us and everything was available in the house which we needed. The pool was huge and plenty of area around for all of us to enjoy. Mme T's husband kept this clean and they were both very helpful. Lovely area for biking and we had trips to Blaye on cycle paths, Bordeaux and very beautiful Royan. Thank you so much for allowing our family to experience this wonderful part of the country. An ideal house in great location. Everything stocked in the house to facilitate care free holiday. Host was very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Pool great.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary year with our family with a 3 week stay at this stunning property. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 2 children. Our hosts Sylvie and Jean Marc (and Pepette the dog) made us very welcome when we arrived and were on hand if help or advice was needed in any way, without being intrusive. The accommodation was immaculately presented with plenty of room inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The lounge was large with plenty of comfortable seating to relax after a day's activities. TV, DVD and an audio system were there to use but not needed with light evenings and good weather. The beds in all the rooms were very comfortable and we all slept well. Both bathrooms and toilets were spotlessly clean and the showers had great water pressure with plenty of hot water all the time. We had fabulous weather and were therefore able to play cricket, football, table tennis, badminton and we had treasure hunts in the expansive grounds. Our grandchildren made good use of the trampoline and the swimming pool was large, well maintained and with plenty of sun loungers. We strongly recommend this gite if you are looking for a high standard of accommodation with an enormous amount of space and great peace and quiet. The massive garden added to the tranquillity of the gite and it is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely return if holidaying in this area in the future. Anglade is a very quiet village and surrounded by vineyards. Blaye is a short drive away with an interesting citadel and a ferry across the Gironde to the Medoc region. Bordeaux and St Emilion are just over an hour's drive away and Royan a little further. Many thanks to Sylvie and Jean Marc for making such a beautiful property available for us to use. Their hard work in renovating the property is a great credit to them.

We stayed early July 2018 and had a wonderful time. Sylvie T is a very gracious host and the house is spotless and full of personal touches. We cooked and ate meals outside under the shade trees. We swam and walked in the local area. It also was a good location for wine tasting Cotes de Blaye and sightseeing coastal towns near Royan. Highly recommend this location for travelers who want to relax and enjoy beautiful countryside.
