😊: First of all, the property is stunning. We loved the house, which is spacious and comfortable, and the furnishings are very stylish. There are 3 en-suite bedrooms on the 1st floor and the downstairs kitchen, dining room and living room are large. You enter through a locked gate, so you can park your car(s) and know they are safe. Without a doubt, this is a nice house, and we would stay here again should we ever be in the neighborhood again.. 😢: There is very little to criticize about the house except the lighting - the living room and dining room are just too dark so extra light fixtures would be a great improvement. The kitchen is stocked with a few plates but not enough and most of the mugs are chipped, and should be replaced. If it's not asking too much, a microwave would be nice plus a few tea bags and coffee capsules. There isn't a hairdryer in the bathroom, which is an oversight. Now the biggest problem, which can be easily rectified, is the communication with the host. When we booked the room in the morning (granted we are last minute people), I never received a message from the host regarding how we could access the property. Plus, the address of the property is incomplete (it's #10). After leaving a few voice messages, I was lucky enough to get the host on the line, who then told me I should call the caretaker (I later learned that the host does not live locally). The caretaker Frederic is very friendly, and as far as I could tell speaks French only. I'm almost certain that the communication breakdown is the cause of the May 2025 guest's disappointing experience (who gave the property a 1 score). This could be easily avoided by listing Frederic's phone number on the listing. I note it here for your convenience: +33-66-44-73-894. I hope this will facilitate smooth communication for the next guests. This is a beautiful property, and it would be a shame for it to earn such a low score due to communication mishaps..
