Proche de Sarlat Cocon où écouter le silence +Piscine /Spa 30° Jacuzzi

La location est conforme à nos attentes et se situe où nous le voulions : au milieu de nulle part : la nature à perte de vue. Cependant la location est placée au milieu d’un secteur avec une multitude d’activité et non loin de sarlat et souillac pour les commerces. La proximité de la Dordogne à carlux nous a permis de faire des activités assez rapidement : kayak, randonnée, pique nique… La piscine est le plus du séjours lors duquel il y avait la canicule et nous n’en avons pas souffert ! La propriétaire a été très prévenante et de bon conseil. L’ensemble de la famille est ravi de son séjours.

This property is in a gorgeous setting - rolling wooded hills. Very peaceful and scenic. 8 women of a certain age, from USA and Canada, spent 9 nights (there were six of us after the first 2 nights). We rented both the bigger cottage and the small one - after there were 6 of us, we could all have easily fit in the big one. Every room is thoughtfully decorated and the bathrooms are incredible. So nice to have good water pressure and lots of hot water and toilets and showers that work properly. All appliances were in working order and everything was spotless. There were plenty of linens and towels. Pascale has three little dogs that are delightful - we all enjoyed them! A nice welcome basket awaited us in each cottage, and I cannot think of a single utensil or item we needed and could not find. The real gift, though, is Pascale. She is so warm and friendly and helpful, I feel like I have a new friend. She went out of her way to pick me up in Brive to take me to the rental agency, because only the Hertz agency has vans with automatic transmission, and it isn't near the train station. Prior to that, she made many phone calls on my behalf finding just that vehicle to rent, and helping me get it booked. She then led us all to Souillac, where we picked up the rest of our people and their luggage, Then, on our last day, she did it all again, even though she needed to prepare the cottages for 12 arriving guests that afternoon. She also arranged for an appointment, and drove, and acted as interpreter with a physician when one of our party was ill. The dinner she prepared for us the first night we arrived was so good, and a friendly, welcoming evening was had under the hazelnut trees in the yard. Delicious food and great company. If you get a chance to have brunch at the castle whose owner she knows, in St. Genies, it is an unforgettable experience. The pool house has to be seen to be believed. It is like having a whole cottage beside the pool, (sans bedroom), and our group ate there almost every night. The pool is wonderful, warm and sparkling clean. I could go on and on, but you can see that 5 stars aren't enough - I would give 10 stars, and I can't wait to return! Thank you, Pascale!

My husband and I rented the small cottage/gite on this property for one week in September and had a fabulous time. September and October offer warm, sunny weather (75-82F), and the towns are not crowded so sightseeing is a joy! The cottage has lovely furnishings throughout as well as a modern bathroom and kitchenette. The kitchenette is fully equipped with appliances, cookware, dishes and glassware. The grounds, outdoor patio and pool areas are beautiful. The pool is heated to 89F. The owner, Pascale, is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She speaks English fluently and provided helpful tips for our day trips. Go and have a wonderful time!

We spent two fabulous weeks in this very nice Gîtes. The house feels like a real original house from the region. Decorated with love and details, it has a special atmosphere that feels like vacation in France. We especially like the historic Flipper “Indiana Jones” and the original Juke Box that was running all day for us. The heated pool was large and perfectly situated by the house. Our two kids loved to use it almost every day. Being located in Simeyrols, it was possible to easy do day trips to all important Perigord locations like castles, botanical gardens, historic towns, caves and of course the Dordogne river where canoeing is the perfect sport. Last but not least it needs to be mentioned that Pascale is a perfect organizer and she can make almost everything happen. Thank you again for all your support Pascale !! endroit calme à l'abri de l'excitation du monde...à consommer sans modération un accueil simple et convivial...un concert le lundi soir par des amis pour des amis avec un feu de bois,thé et café ainsi que gateaux,bref un endroit ydillique merci pour les croissants le jour du départ

Nous avons passé un weekend absolument délicieux notamment grâce à l'accueil de Pascale, sa bonne humeur et son indiscutable talent culinaire (impossible de tout mentionner ici, tout était juste bcp trop bon) !! Pascale nous a bien conseillé pour notre visite à Sarlat (très bons restaurants) et notre activité de Canoë sur la Dordogne. La propriété de Pascale est tout bonnement magnifique avec un superbe jardin donnant sur la vallée. La piscine chauffée à 31° était également très agréable ! En bref, nous avons passé un weekend inoubliable et ne manqueront pas de venir lors de notre prochain passage dans la région. Merci Pascale !

Tout d'abord cette merveilleuse région mérite un séjour : soleil, paysages, nombreux sites historiques à visiter (châteaux, grottes, etc...), canoë sur la Dordogne, bref on ne s'ennuie jamais. Concernant la maison elle est très spacieuse et confortable en tout point conforme avec les photos visibles sur le site et bien située. Le premier étage est particulièrement agréable car il a été entièrement refait avec une très jolie décoration. Le calme est absolu pour qui souhaite se reposer et la piscine un peu plus loin est à disposition. Enfin, un grand merci à Pascale, la propriétaire, pour son accueil, sa gentillesse, ses délicates attentions tout au long de notre séjour et ses bonnes adresses. Gite que nous recommandons chaudement. Quang, Isabelle et les enfants, To-Nhu et JJ.

Un grand merci à Pascale pour son formidable accueil ! Nous avons passé 2 semaines de vraies vacances dans son très beau gite. Le lieu est magique, la vue époustouflante, l'accueil gentil, efficace et discret, la maison est bien organisée, confortable et entretenue (tout est prévu... il ne manque absolument rien ! et d'une propreté rare !) les petits déjeuners sont gourmands, les soirées musique de grande qualité, la piscine à deux pas de la terrasse, tout cela contribue à se sentir très vite dépaysé et aussi bien qu'à la maison ! Vraiment un endroit fabuleux !
