😊: The place itself was nice, cozy, and overall fine to stay in.. 😢: Out of nowhere after booking, they sprung a sudden €500 deposit requirement on us, which was shocking and unfair to spring on travelers last minute. To make matters worse, we met a stranded guest downstairs who lost his entire booking payment because he couldn't pay the surprise deposit the hosts refused to refund him or let him in. The apartment had some sketchy maintenance issues. The fridge door was literally falling off, the curtain rod was precariously held together by a zip-tie, and there was mold on the walls. If any of that had broken further, we worried they'd blame us and steal our €500 deposit. There was no standard kettle (we had to use a coffee machine just to get hot water), no international wall adapters for travelers, and zero effort from management to help when we reached out..
