😊: The location was great. 😢: The property was dirty, the shower cubicle was really grubby, not been cleaned for a long time! The bathroom sink didn’t work, water wouldn’t drain, lever to open/close plug hole didn’t work. Used boxers left hanging from the window, lovely welcome! Contacted owner, quick response, who offered to send a cleaner the next day, only there 2 days, why should our stay be disrupted, should be cleaned before guests arrive! Beds not comfortable and pillows very old/flat.

We enjoyed our stay in the Latin Quarter. This studio was clean and check-in was easy. The bed and sofa bed were comfy. The host was very responsive and made sure we had what we need. The listing was accurate as the place is small and up narrow stairs. Not a great place if you have lots of luggage our trouble navigating narrow stairs.

Pros: Apartment was clean and had everything I needed. Three sets of towels. Had sample sized shampoo and body wash. Had coffee pods available. Washing machine worked well (but must hang to dry). . It’s a great location - 20 min walk to Pantheon, 17 minute walk to Notre Dame and 6 min walk to train station. Has multiple bars, market, shop's and restaurants within 5-20 min walk. Host was extremely responsive to issue I had. It took 2 days to resolve, but host was in constant contact with me. Felt safe and has locking door to apartment hallway. Pictures are exactly as is - you get what you see. Cons: It has to be stated that the apartment is on the top (5th) floor. There are no lifts and you have 67 stairs to walk up in a circular/winding path. With luggage it was difficult for a single person to carry luggage up or downas stairs are 1/2 size as what would expect in USA. Also, because it’s top floor under a black roof, it gets very HOT, even with windows and fans. If you need air conditioning, be sure it’s understood if it is available to you (or not). Host provided a portable air conditioner for me while staying, because the listing said AC is provided. But, the AC listing may be removed. Overall, I really enjoyed my 11 night stay and once the portable air conditioner was provided, all was great. Note: my FAVORITE breakfast place was a straight walk from the apartment for 17 minutes, entitled, “La Crème de Paris Notre Dame”!!
