Propriété de charme spacieuse, bien équipée, avec grand parc et tennis

My group of 6 cyclists hired the Chateau for a week to cycle around the area. The Chateau had a lot of charm and character and all the facilities we needed - and more. We cooked at home every night and the kitchen facilities were good and there was a huge dinner table for us to use.

Superbe résidence avec une grandeur inouie. La maison est immense, non seulement il y a énormément de chambres mais à cela s'ajoutent encore des bureaux, livings, ... Nous avions avec nous une personne en chaise roulante et il y avait un appartement au rdc qui était parfait. Nous louons chaque année avec un groupe d'environ 15 personnes et - en tant que amateurs culinaires - nous voyons rarement une cuisine aussi bien équipée: spacieuse, bien fournie, dotée d'une énorme cuisinière, ... L'espace extérieur est fantastique:::::::, un énorme parc et un bois privés plus terrain de tennis. Les dépendances qui sont au service du locataire étaient sympas:, :::: la 'salle de mariage' était immense et il y avait une table de pingpong, un babyfoot, ... A part ça il y avait plusieurs vélos, des raquettes de tennis, .... En plus de tout ça, l'accueil était très chaleureux et relaxe (merci Mélanie!). On reviendra!

Sincere thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Situated in a quiet village a short drive from Poitiers, La Valette is a chateau full of character and charm set in a beautiful parkland. The house easily accommodated our family group of 7 adults and 4 teens, with room to spare for half a dozen more. Rooms were furnished comfortably and sympathetically in keeping with the magnificence and charm of the house. The kitchen was amply equipped with everything we needed to cater for our large group. Above all, we loved the outdoor space, large gardens and woodland to the front and rear, together a small pool and a well-maintained tennis court. We didn't really got round to using the bikes or the table tennis/table football in the games room, but made good use of the football goals and badminton net in the grounds. Nearby, the Lac de St Cyr provided great swimming opportunities for the boys, as well as kayak pedalo hire, and a aquapark to amuse the family. The nearest town, Poitiers, is a charming place to explore and Futuroscope (one of France's most famous theme parks) is only a 10 minute drive away and great fun. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for a lovely holiday. It truly was a privilege to stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful property with lots of space for outdoor games, great tennis court in good shape and plenty to do in the surrounding country side. Friendly and extebsive reception by the host who is clearly very fond and proud of this property that is still regularly used by the family.

La propriété est agréable et permet aux enfants de jouer en toute sécurité. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille au chateau de La valette. Le cadre etait magnifique et l'endroit absolument reposant. Ballades dans la forêt du parc, tennis en famille et baby foot avec les enfants. Le calme a permis de belle siestes sous les arbres. L'acceuil que ce soir au depart ou l'arrivee a ete parfait et fort sympathique. Nous mettons cette adresse dans nos favoris.

Le château de La Valette est idéal pour une semaine en famille. Nous avons beaucoup profité de l'environnement et du parc très bien aménagé avec tennis et beaucoup de jeux pour les enfants. L'intérieur est aussi très agréable, authentique et aménagé avec goût. Merci pour votre accueil.
