Ravissante maison restaurée avec piscine individuelle

Arriving at this wonderful spot in the middle of the unspoiled countryside and the warm welcome by Jacky and Francis was the start of a magnificent week at Le Scourbet. The preparations for our stay, the comfort as well as the cozy interior so tastefully decorated with many personal touches made us happy. Everything you wish for is available and you really lack nothing at all. Outside the lovely shady terrace with the large dining table, cosy seats everywhere overlooking the well maintained garden, the awesome pool with excellent sun loungers, the fields and the woods, and moreover the silence, it really gave us this "wish to stay forever" feeling. We spent more time outside than inside and enjoyed the several visits of the small deer and even once at sunset we spotted the wild boar family in the upper meadow. Indeed we were sorry to leave Le Scourbet, this true paradise on earth. Dear Jacky and Francis, on behalf of all of us, thank you so much for your immense hospitality, for all delicacies presented to us on arrival, in short for a magnificent and unforgettable week. Had a peaceful and very enjoyable stay. The house has everything for a comfortable holiday, and the pool and grounds are lovely. The hosts were spot on with their communication and welcome (wine, fruit jam and cake very much enjoyed). Local wildlife, deer, birds of prey etc. all paid a visit, nice to see.

Une semaine passée dans ce lieu enchanteur. A l’écart des routes et du bruit avec une vue magnifique sur les collines avoisinantes. Une maison ravissante décorée avec goût. Une ambiance cosy à l’anglaise. Rien ne manque en terme d’équipement tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. La localisation est parfaite pour rayonner sans le Périgord noir sans faire trop de kilomètres (Sarlat, les villages perchés des bords de la dordogne, la ballade en gabare, et même les grottes de Lascaux ne sont qu’à 45 mn) . De belles découvertes à proximité : Belvès, Limeuil et Monpazier. Bref une semaine parfaite

Super schöne Location in absolut ruhiger Alleinlage. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben den tollen Pool und die ruhige Umgebung sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. The outside areas are lovely and we radiated to the patio table for meals and the various seating areas. The grounds are varied with a beautiful pool and woodlands to wander. We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Le Scourbet. By far the best property we have stayed in during our numerous visits to France. Really lovely house set in gloriously secluded grounds with an amazing large pool. It had everything we needed to make a perfect holiday. In addition the house remained cool despite the unusually high temperatures that we experienced. Perfectly located too. The hosts were very kind and helpful and we really appreciated the extra touches that they made. We would highly recommend this property.

This is complete tranquility in the beautiful countryside. The garden, pool and surroundings are just stunning and immaculate. There is everything you need for a blissful week or rest and perfect base for enjoying the delights of the Perigord. Hosts are lovely, lovely people.
