"Reine de la plage" avec son jardin donnant sur la plage!

😊: The property is in a great location with it's own gate giving access to the beach. A bonus is the fact you get a parking space actually within the property boundary so easy to unload and good security. The main kitchen / lounge area is a good size and is well equipped, the kitchen having pretty much all the appliances and equipment you could want. The shower room is a good size and is well laid out with the benefit of a washing machine.. 😢: The two bedrooms, in our opinion let the property down a bit. The light switch does nothing because there is no main light and you need to use the bedside light. If you hire bed linen, the fitted sheets do not fit the bed well (not deep enough), so tend to come away in the night. Generally to get a good nights sleep was not easy. Fans in the bathroom and toilet didn't seem to work and in the toilet, which has no windows, this did create a less than fresh environment. The Important Bit .... Superficially the property seems reasonably clean, but it obvious that certain aspects of it have not had a deep clean in some time. A few days before we arrived, we were asked for a €300 security deposit against any damage, which was fine and we can understand this. However on the day of arrival this was reduced to €100 and we were told it was a cleaning deposit. Basically unless you pay for a cleaning service, which at the time of booking and writing this review, is not mentioned on Booking.com as an option, you need to clean the apartment yourself. No mention of this requirement was given in the property details when we booked. The list you are given includes vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom - none of which we were aware of until we arrived. We obviously cleaned and the host turned up to inspect our work and to our relief it met the standard (it should do as we previously owned 7 luxury holiday homes and know the standard that's required). Be aware that you need to clean this property before you leave and that the property will quite possibly have been cleaned for you by the last people who stayed in it..
