Renovated apartment in the heart of Mirepoix cutlery

The apartment is charming. It is on the central market square that is bordered by timbered housed. The only drawback is the noise some nights from children playing soccer or evening events on the square. However, the windows provide excellent sound blocking if closed.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful town. Parking just across the road from the apartment was always really easy, and even on Sunday evenings when we needed to park away from the square because of the (amazing) market on Monday mornings, we always found a good place to park - for free. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal on arrival, after good communications. The apartment itself is not just as good as it looks in the pictures, it’s much better!! The living room/kitchen area is really spacious, with a lovely, very comfortable huge sofa, and a stylish and practical kitchen. The decor is very pleasant, with some antique pieces of furniture mixed in with new. The location is fantastic - overlooking the pretty main square with its many cafes, restaurants, bars and little shops. There are two little balconies, the only ones on the square, so pleasantly breezy. We ate out six times in Mirepoix, but also stayed in and cooked six times, which was also fun, with an excellent supermarket with a butchery counter a couple of minutes walk across the square, with a larger supermarket on the way out of town, plus boulangeries on and around the square. We never found the square noisy at night, nor the next door Cathedral, which is beautiful and worth a visit. The rest of the apartment is great, with a laundry room, good sized bathroom with a big efficient shower, two bedrooms, both with plenty of storage and hanging space. As you can tell, we loved it here and hope to return!

We had a brief stay while visiting relatives in Mirepoix. The apartment is right on the square, and very comfortable. The mattress was excellent. Highly recommended.

Wonderful apartment looking our over the pretty square with all the Christmas lights decorated shops , lots of visitors over the festive period so plenty to look at. Photos of apartment are absolutely accurate. A beautifully clean, bright, modern apartment with top of god range fitted kitchen, big breakfast bar and comfortable stalls, plus a dining table which doubled as my husbands office. Extremely comfortable sofa and excellent lighting. Loads of cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans and glasses. Plenty of cleaning equipment and a new washing machine and dryer. The shower was to die for. Big room with plenty of space for everything and fabulous shower. Two bedrooms with plenty of hanging space (I'm going to copy the wardrobe idea) , big chest of drawers and a TV in main bedroom. Very comfy bed smaller than we are used to, but slept very well. We used the second bedroom for hanging clothes but didn't use the beds. We parked just across the road, never any problem finding space and 10 second walk to the apartment. Mirepoix is a lovely town with friendly people, lots of independent shops, great boulangerie and good selection of restaurants. There is a huge SuperU 10 minutes stroll from the apartment and plenty of country walks. We fell in love with France on this visit. Our hostess answered very quickly when we booked and all our subsequent questions and when we couldn't log on to the Internet she sent some help immediately. We were met on time when we arrived and when we departed. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Un séjour au calme au centre de la cité de Mirepoix: l’appartement refait à neuf est très agréable, très bien isolé . Cela nous a permis de faire de belles randonnées et de profiter du marché du lundi matin. Nous reviendrons !
