Renovated Stone House with Garden in the Heart of the Saint-Émilion Vineyards

Well designed and fully equipped 2-bedroom gite set in vineyards within 5 minutes drive of St Emilion and surrounding wineries. The peace and tranquility of the setting is delightful, with all you need for your stay in the two-storey farmhouse. Access to the many good restaurants and historic monuments in St Emilion made this 5-day stay one of our highlights.

Lovely stay, with great host who went out of their way to check all was ok with our stay. Little touches like a personalised note and wine was so nice. The location of this property is not only beautiful but very well located, waking up amongst the vines and watching the sun set from the terrace … perfect

We had a lovely week’s holiday in la Gîte de Lys at the beginning of Aug 22. Set on a vineyard in a rural idyllic location the Gîte is well equipped, very clean and the location is beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed the bottle of wine that they gave us, it is a very rare treat to drink a glass of wine standing amongst the vines from where it came. St Emilion is just 5mins drive away and we enjoyed our sunset strolls and ate well in the restaurants. We visited Bergerac, Marmande and enjoyed the French markets at Castillon le Bataille and Libourne. We also visited Bordeaux which is only 40mins away. We spent time at le Lac de Gurson where we enjoyed swimming and also walking amongst the pines. There is also free canoeing, volleyball and a beach. It is very well set up, very clean and with changing rooms and a good cafe. Worth a visit, not busy at all and we went in the peak of summer. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gîte and will remember this special area fondly. Thank you to our hosts for their hospitality.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans cette belle maison au milieu des vignes, très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. L'emplacement est calme et reposant. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

Gîte très bien situé et entretenu avec tout le confort. Idéal pour les familles ou 2 couples. Suggestion d'amélioration éventuelle :prévoir un porte manteau ou une parterre. Des lits jumeaux au lieu d'un double lit dans une des 2 chambres serait pratique. Mais ce sont des détails car le gîte est vraiment bien équipé. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Dommage que la location transite via Abritel qui prend beaucoup de frais sans vraiment offrir un plus au locataire,
