Residence d'Anjou - Grand studio avec clim, balcon et parking privatif

😊: The host waited for me at my arrival, explained everything I needed to know about the studio.. 😢: Nothing special.

😊: Everything what perfect. 😢: Location was good for me and the apartment was clean and in a quiet neighbour hood ..

😊: Well maintained apartment, nice view, nice balcony. Excellent value for money. Perpignan itself isn't superb as a city but it's a short drive to mountain regions like villefranche and also the beach, so it's a good base. There are a few decent restaurants in town as well.. 😢: Building is quite old and rundown. The lift didn't open once (the doors opened a tiny bit and then closed again) and we had to go up 7 flights of stairs. You can hear the neighbors very well through the walls, and some definitely have a taste for loud music. The door can sometimes be hard to open (the top lock can get a little bit caught). The entrance to the parking is quite tight if you have a bigger car..

😊: Great apartment, it had everything you need. Lovely neighbour who looks after the apartment met us and handed over the keys showed us parking etc. Great view from the balcony we watched the 14th July fireworks. Bed very comfortable and good shower, nice apartment ideal for our 2 night stay.. 😢: A couple of issues the lift was not working (owner must of known as it had been out of action when I made the reservation but did not mention at time of booking) and it is situated on the 7th Floor !!! pedal bin broken..

😊: The view from the balcony was great. 😢: The cleanseness of the place. Cracked tiles with dirt ingrained. Under the sink, dirty clothes and sponges which you were supposed to clean with. Bed linen smelt like it hadn't been washed, smelt very sweaty, especially the pillows. The photos are only a few compared to what is wrong with the place. We didn't feel safe going back to the apartment as there were youths all standing in the doorway at night, and we felt very intimidated. We had booked for 5 nights and ended up staying just the one. We could sleep because of the smell of the bed linen. The owner was not co-operative at all. We asked for the bed linen to be changed, but she wouldn't do it, even though her friend who lives on the same floor is her cleaner..
