RIBEAUVILLE, Alsace Gite 4 -Quartier calm individual persons home.

My grandson I decided to make a tour of Alsace to see the region of France I'd always dreamed of. The location was ideal for the surrounding towns on our itinerary! It was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparations. The owners were kind, friendly and helpful for all our questions and needs. As others had mentioned, parking is not as easy to find as would be desired, but many of the towns in the region are the same, so just be prepared for that. Streets are also very narrow, as is typical in the region. I can't say enough about the beauty of the surrounding towns and highly recommend this rental property!

This gite is in a perfect location for exploring the village of Ribeauville. However, if you have a car, parking is challenging, and can be quite difficult. Also, make sure that the communication with the owner, especially check-in and check-out instructions, are in your native language. We somehow missed the check-out rules, and were informed of that in no uncertain terms. Be aware that check-out is 10:00a. Overall, beautiful gite in the center of a charming village.

Ribeauville is a delightful town, and this property is superbly placed to take advantage of all that the town has to offer, as well as the surrounding areas. Catherine and Dominique are charming hosts who, despite living next door, never impinge but always seem to be around if you need them. The apartment is well laid out and has all the equipment and comfort that underpin a holiday let. It was good, from time to time, to get away from the massive platefuls in the bars and restaurants and be able to eat a simple meal "at home"! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and can heartily recommend the property, the owners, the town and the surrounding areas. Thank you Catherine and Dominique.

This beautiful old home is furnished with two bedrooms, double beds each, a toilet room, a shower and sink room, the kitchen, and a living room. It has a separate entry way and a washing machine and drying racks in the basement. It's in the heart of the old town and within perfect walking distance of the market, bread and cheese shops, churches, and we even went straight from the Airbnb to the three castles on the hill. It was a lovely hike and we didn't even have to drive anywhere to start our hike. You can also just take a hike from the Airbnb up into the Vineyards overlooking the city. Spectacular views of old world charm. Catherine and Dominique were absolutely fabulous. They welcomed us with big smiles and showed us everything we needed. They were very kind in helping us dry our laundry, walked us to our restaurant, and we enjoyed their company immensely. They allowed us to have our private quarters and were very sensitive to allow us our personal space, but were very accessible if we needed anything or just wanted to talk. We enjoyed getting to know more about the city and the region from these friendly locals and hope to come again. Thank you Dominique and Catherine for our favorite experience in France.
