Rouen centre - Duplex cosy pour 5 personnes

😊: The location is perfect, in the super centre. The instructions how to get in are super clear and easy to follow. The apparement is very nice and freshly renovated, still you have a nice touch of medieval spirit. You have everything you need, including dishes, dishwasher, oven, washing machine, etc. 😢: There was a bag with trash inside at the entrance, when we arrived, and the glasses were not washed properly..

😊: The hosts instructions using the app were amazing it showed us all we needed to know in great detail, after a long day driving this was a breath of fresh air to have all that info and easy access to the property with no problems! The host had messaged us several times in the run up that we hadn’t seen until the day we arrived, so check your bookings as the info is crucial! Location is perfect in the heart of the city. We travelled as a family of 5 and used this as a stop over before heading home to the uk, The apartment was perfect for that and it was clean, very well equipped and beautifully presented and refurbed to a high standard. The rooms on the upper floor were very cosy and not great for the taller person but it was great for a good nights sleep!. 😢: Duvets or covers for the sofa bed to make the sleeping arrangements easier, we made do and wasn’t a huge issue!.

😊: Very central right behind the old market. Nicely renovated, everything new and easy check in. Great communication with the host!. 😢: There are still some things missing in the apartment like ventilators, muskitonets, closets to put your clothes and I would have appreciated a dryer, because it's hard to dry your laundry in 1 day inside. The rainshower is nice, but open and wets up the entire floor. I would recommend to place a showercurtain. It was very hot and there were some people making crazy noise untill 7 am in the morning, so we only slept about 3 hours a night. We understand we are in the center, but this was too much. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator, so don't bring big suitcases. The bedroom upstairs has no door, so not a lot of privacy. The second bedroom is connected with the bathroom, so any time we had to go to the toilet we had to wake up the person who was sleeping there. The video room is nice, but the screen for the projector is small and not really well set, so we didn't use it. Furthermore we loved how the place was freshly renovated and located right in the heart of Rouen. I would recommend the place for a couple or with 1 child and for short stays, like 3 days, to visit the city center of Rouen like the church of Jean D'arc and The Notre Dame. I would personally change the videoroom into a children's bedroom and use the other room as a videoroom/ laundry/ - closet room. With these adjustments and some better security around the building I would definitely come back..
