Rustic holiday home with garden in Gray

De foto's op de website van Belvilla geven geen juiste indruk van deze accommodatie. Volgens hedendaagse normen is de woning ongeschikt als vakantieverblijf. Ondanks de sympathieke verhuurder raden we verblijf in deze woning af.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Gray. La location est totalement fidèle aux photos et descriptif et l'accueil des plus chaleureux. Pas envahissant, le propriétaire est néanmoins très disponible pour échanger sur nos visites. Il connaît bien la région et sait enrichir nos retours par des petites anecdotes ou explications. Nous sommes contents de l'avoir rencontré. Si l'envie vous prend de venir dans la région n'hésitez pas, vous ne regretterez pas.

Vriendelijke otnvangst door de eigenaar. Het huis is wat atypisch met WC en badkamer op de gelijksvloerse verdieping en de leefruimte en slaapkamer op de eerste verdieping. Voor de rest gezelling ingericht alles wat je nodig hebt op vakantie is aanwezig, een leuke tuin schaduwrijke tuin om in te verpozen. De ideale uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken zowel op cultureel als op sportief vlak.

We had an amazing time staying in this absolutely beautiful house that felt like home. The host is very friendly and the garden is a nice extra. Gray is a charming town and if you have a car, plenty of activities can be found (fairly) nearby. We would absolutely recommend to stay in this apartment!

Wir hatten 3 herrliche Tage in dieser schöner Wohnung. Es war alles vorhanden, Jedes Zimmer war mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet, wir wollten die Wohnung gar nicht verlassen. Der Innenhof mit Garten war ein Ort der Ruhe. Olivier war absolut unkompliziert und entspannt...das waren wir später auch! ( 2 Erwachsene / 2 Jugendliche / 3 Übernachtungen )

We two 70 plus experienced renters had a great fortnight in this unusual house and delightful town. The description is accurate but we have 2 reservations, neither very serious. First, while the 3 bedrooms are spacious there's a lack of comfortable sitting facilities. Second, the outside area is rather unkempt - the bushes need trimming & weeds cleared. The property is well equipped for cooking and was very clean on our arrival. The owners are very helpful but not intrusive, and Olivier speaks good English. Street parking is handy, but we prefered to use a small carpark about 100 yards away. The town is better than described with lots of seating on the river banks and a lot of boat traffic through the lock. We used the cafe "Les 2 Terasses" & the restaurants Olivier recommended. Very good value for money.
