Saint Jacques - Appartement 2 Chambres - Cathédrale 3 min - Centre - Reims

😊: Great location , wonderful spacious apartment with 2 large double bedrooms and very comfortable beds.. 😢: Duvet a a bit too warm . Air con would have been wonderful being in the middle of a heatwave..

😊: Location great for Cathedral, and bars/restaurants/shopping and also not far to train station if you wanted to hop over to Epernay for champagne tours etc.. 😢: Direct access to the apartment by car was not possible. This should have been made clear with directions to nearest undergound car park (Cathedral on Rue des Capucins) which was only 200 metres away from the property (so not actually a major problem) but with the one way system/no entry signs except for buses and authorised vehicles etc, directions to 1 Passage St Jacques on google maps proved a nightmare - still waiting for the fines. Mention of the absolute necessity of a Crit'Air sticker for your vehicle would also have been handy. The nearby on street parking charge was supposedly included in the price of the rental but no instruction as to how to go about this on the owner's website, so we ended up paying 46 Euros for the 3 days we were there. Photos of the access gate (and where to leave rubbish at end of stay) next to the Pharmacy on Rue de Vesle (street with Trams) would have been helpful..

😊: The location is great - right in the centre on everything in the grounds of a church. Restaurants minutes away and the Cathedral about 10 minutes. We arrived by train and it was an easy 15 minutes walk. The apartment is very clean with two decent sized bedrooms.. 😢: Although the bed linen was very good - the towels were a bit rough - and it would have been very handy to have a couple of washing tablets for the washing machine..
