Saint-Valery, Baie des songes

It was a very nice holiday home with very friendly landlords in a dreamlike environment. Everything that was needed was in the holiday home, including very good excursion destinations.

Beautiful medieval property but with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Spotlessly clean, everything you could need and more. Rooms were very spacious with exposed beams and plenty of room to store your belongings. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful house which also had a wonderful garden. The hosts were so lovely and very helpful with suggestions of where to eat and where to visit and they spoke quite good English *much better than my French!) The street was two rows behind the bay front which made it ideal walking distance, Beautiful town and beautiful house. Definitely would stay here again.

Our hosts were wonderfully helpful and have binders of information on the region. The apartment was lovingly restored and fully equipped and very comfortable—very clean. The linen bedding was a nice touch. Overall a terrific place and location!

Everything about this home is nice: the location (quiet spot in the middle of a busy tourist town), the wonderful garden, the bedrooms and all other facilities. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We had an enjoyable stay in France, and the area is beautiful. However, I write this review as a warning to others. Sadly, our stay has been marred by the refusal of the owner to refund our damage deposit. A large deposit was required of which 99 Euros has been held on to for an apparent stain on a bed sheet. This wasn't caused by us as we were very careful and cleaned the property as we left. It also seems over the top to me, as a fitted sheet should be fairly cheap to buy. This is on top of being asked to bring 30 Euros in cash for the use of the sheets in the first place (more if we wanted towels as well)! It is such a shame, but I certainly won't be returning.

Michel and Katsuko were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The property is very clean with all amenities that we needed. We would definitely consider staying again in the future. We were four adults and one small child and there was plenty of space for us all. Would definitely recommend this property and St Valery in general.

It was very nice , a beautifull garden and a very nice location. The hosts are very friendly !
