Sainte Victoire le Cabanon

😊: We loved this place. Located in a very quiet town with good car access to the places we wanted to explore in Provence. The house was very comfortable, with an equipped kitchen and renovated spaces. It offered quality of sleep, views to the surrounding mountains and a beautiful garden with oliver trees. It was wonderful to wake up and drink coffee in the garden or to enjoy the pool. Great hosts too, thank you. We hope to return soon :).

😊: Excellent location and Georges and Christine are lovely hosts. Located in a peaceful, friendly village with shops and restaurants approx ten minutes walk. A very comfortable petite (but adequate for 2 persons - you are not squashed, plenty of room) house with plenty of lovely garden space including a small pool. Parking is nearby on a safe community car park within 5 minutes walk of the property. PLEASE NOTE - you must be able bodied to carry your luggage from the car park and up the gated access steps to get to the property. Also the stairs to the sleeping area are open tread with no handrail so care must be taken. DO NOT book the property and then complain afterwards about access etc as all the information is readily to hand when you book. A BRILLIANT PLACE for a holiday.. 😢: Not a complaint as such, but maybe some cups with handles for those of us who like our english tea hot please ?.

😊: We arrived but did not stay having looked at the property - see below.. 😢: There are serious health and safety issues about this property. The staircase consists of a number of open bits of metal. No handrail of any description. The metal ‘fence’ at the top of the stairs is loose. The steps from the road up to the garden are slabs of crumbling concrete with a rusty broken railing alongside. This property is not suitable for elderly people. The bedroom is upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs (see above comment concerning stairs). The photographs are very misleading. The ‘swimming pool’ is an above-ground plunge pool. There are no bedside lights, no bedside tables. You have to get out of the very small bed to turn off the light. The garden had an air of neglect..

😊: Nice small renovated house with nice garden and view over the landscape. We liked also to use the barbecue. We enjoyed our stay! :-). 😢: The pool is smaller than it looks on the picture but is still great to refresh! The house is fine for two persons but not for more due to the size. There are only 4 sets of dishes..

Alles wie beschrieben - nur noch besser! Bei Christine und Georges fühlt man sich einfach willkommen. Das Häuschen, der Garten, der Pool, die Lage, und auch das Städtchen haben uns extrem gut gefallen, vielen Dank für die erholsame und schöne Zeit!

Das kleine Häuschen mit wundervollem Garten ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles sehr klein, aber optimal genutzt und gepflegt. Der Garten mit dem Pool hat eine wundervolle Größe und Blick in die provencalische Ebene. Den Pool konnten wir ganz für uns nutzen, war immer sehr sauber und wurde mit Wasser aufgefüllt. Christine und George wohnen im vorderen großen Haus, sind sehr hilfsbereit und halten sich ansonsten sehr im Hintergrund. Wir haben eine traumhafte, entspannte Zeit genossen. Le petit chalet avec un magnifique jardin est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Tout est très petit, mais utilisé et entretenu de manière optimale. Le jardin avec la piscine a une taille magnifique et une vue sur la plaine provençale. Nous pouvions utiliser la piscine complètement pour nous, toujours très propre et remplie d’eau. Christine et George vivent dans la grande maison à l’avant, sont très serviables et s’exposent autrement à l’arrière-plan. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment de détente.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans une villa, très bien située au cœur du beau village de Puyloubier, spacieuse, fonctionnelle, très confortable, une terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la Sainte Victoire où il faisait bon de petit-déjeuner ou de dîner et un coin bien à l'ombre pour déjeuner dans le grand et très beau jardin. Christine, la propriétaire, faisait tout pour nous conseiller et nous aider et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dans sa belle villa. À recommander si vous voulez passer de bonnes et belles vacances au cœur de la Provence, tout près d'Aix-enProvence, Marseille, Cassis et leurs calanques et visiter les villages provinciaux. Un super séjour entre amis à 15 minutes d'Aix en Provence dans un cadre magnifique. Idéal pour un dépaysement total et un changement d'air ! Les propriétaires sont accueillants et donnent de très bonnes adresse pour découvrir les alentours. La maison est propre et bien située, elle fut à la hauteur de mes attentes, je recommande.
