Sara Riviera

Breathtaking view, close to Monaco and very decently priced. A lovely pool on the roof, great for a morning dip. It is not perfect, the outside air-con unit blows the hot air back in if the doors are open but that is a small thing compared to the benefits of staying with Sara Riviera. We would definitely return, should our path take us to Cap-d’Ail again.

Very nice views and pool area, room was good but a little outdated. However suited our group very well. Service and correspondence with staff could be a little more polite… a smile would make all better. ;-)

The room was very tired and in need of major investment . Very disappointed when we arrived and eventually checked in which was not a good experience. The air conditioning was awful and did not keep us cool. A very old system and not acceptable in the heat. We had self catering. No chopping boards or sieve. Pans that didn’t work on the hob. Very under equipped . Almost as though any old rubbish and mis match was plonked in the cupboards. The pool was ok but health and safety an issue. We witnessed another holiday maker fall through the grates along the pool. He cut his knee , this was reported but nothing done. Not even a sign to let others know that it was is hazard . Only four umbrellas in the heat available at the whole pool area . Many children had no cover from the blazing sun . Rubbish left on the wooden decking for days. Not enough staff and no care from the management. It felt like they took your money and didn’t care. I would never recommend this accommodation. It’s very clear there hasn’t been any investment for years.

Modern clean room with AC and stunning view and large balcony. Our room didn’t have lift access so the last bit we had to carry our heavy bags up by quite a few steps. The common area have no restaurant and def needs some love and cleaning. But pool itself is clean and gorgeous view. Easy with own parking but it is on cliff so steep to drive up to and also parking on a hill essentially inside the carpark - but you get used to it. Easy walk down to store and bakery but steep walk up back to room (great cardio). Gorgeous surroundings by the sea with walk path. The only problems we had was a door malfunction making closing the door hard but somehow got fixed by itself and no wine opener (got it 24h later).

The view from the room was great. But if you are travelling without car and luggage bags it would be nightmare for you. There are steps where you have to carry all your luggage. No ramps at all. Rooms need some maintenance. Toilet seat was broken. No everyday cleaning provided unless you are paying for it. 500ml water bottle they charge €3. Communication with the owner was smooth and helpful.

The view is amazing something unique.

Beautiful views, but apartment was not clean, no pool in operation and overall upkeep was lacking.

Amazing view. Excellent experience. Must be to walk up lots of steps and uphill walkway. Some issues with the Wi-Fi Internet. Not able to operate the TV, stove and microwave probably not familiar with equipment as we are from USA. Definitely would recommend for anyone wants to come to Monaco.
