Schönes modernes Haus mit Garten und Swimmingpool

A lovely modern house with every amenity that you could need for a vacation. It is stylish, well furnished and very comfortable. The friendly owners, were helpful and made sure we were happy in knowing how to use some of the equipment, that would task this individual, especially if I had to use a French manual. The house is located on the edge of the small village of Salinelles, which has two local restaurants. It is a peaceful rural location. There is ample parking and the property is private and secure. The pool is a decent size and was absolutely essential in the very hot dry weather, a lovely garden with a hammock too. The vibrant town of Sommières is just a short drive away. July and August are ripe with activities like the Estivales, soirées, morning and night markets selling local produce, most with live music adding to the buzz. The interesting historic town Nîmes is not too far distant and well worth the journey. Montpellier too is a good place to visit and not too far. Kayaking at Saint Guileme le Desert is worth the journey for the 12k Herault River, the prettiest town to visit and the stunning valley scenery. A car is needed to access some of the local and larger towns. If we come the area again we would return here without hesitation.

We had the pleasure of spending our vacation in a wonderful holiday home in the south of France. We had a wonderful time there with eight people. The house itself and especially the kitchen were fantastically equipped - we didn't lack anything! We were particularly excited about the outdoor kitchen with grill and additional refrigerators, which offered perfect conditions for barbecues together. The pool was a highlight and we used it daily. The beautiful garden with its shady spots offered us ideal places to retreat (including in a cozy hammock) to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay in wonderful surroundings. We were also impressed by the town of Sommières. Not only is it beautiful, but it also offers numerous excellent restaurants that spoiled us with regional delicacies. The area around the holiday home offers a variety of excursion options: we went on a canoe tour and enjoyed walks directly from the house. Day trips to Montpellier and the beach are also easily possible and highly recommended. Sommières and the surrounding area enchanted us with their diversity and beauty. We'd love to come back!

A very nice house in a quiet area, perfect for relaxation, peaceful walks, and good meals. The house was exceptionally well-equipped. There was plenty of space both inside and outside for relaxation, good meals, and activities such as table tennis, swimming, badminton, and ball games. The friendly hosts made the stay perfect."

We had a great time at the villa. It was well stocked with all things you need, especially for outdoor dining / cooking. Francis and Marie-claude were fantastic hosts and in regular communication. Salinelles is not to far to travel for away days / nights.....we'd recommend Montpellier and Sete. All in all...was a great trip, a great villa and great location. Set in a quiet location. House lovely and spacious. Large shaded garden with ping pong and hammock, fantastic pool with a well equipped outdoor kitchen. Everything you need!! Owners very helpful with advice on local vineyards and restaurants. We had a great evening on Thursday down in the village where local producers sell their wares- foods (oysters, cheeses, burgers, onion bhajis!, ice creams etc) and wines all with a band playing. You can really make an evening of it - as many locals did!! Seems to be a weekly event until September. Would highly recommend this villa.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Haus und der Garten mit Pool waren einfach wunderbar, es war wirklich ein kleines Paradies und wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit und haben uns das Haus ausführlich gezeigt und uns wertvolle informationen gegeben. Auch die Umgebung hat uns sehr gefallen...alles in allem einfach nur schön und zum empfehlen.

The house and garden are great. There were 4 of us but can comfortably accommodate many more. Like the cooking facilities and pool/garden. All good quality. Nice local town and local restaurant we walked to. Owners very nice.

Accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires. Une bouteille de Muscat et une délicieuse tapenade nous attendaient. La maison est exceptionnelle avec 4 chambres très spacieuses dont 2 disposent de leur propre douche et il y a à une troisième salle de bain pour les deux autres chambres. Les extérieurs sont entretenus à la perfection. La terrasse se situe sur deux niveaux : le premier avec une table permettant d’accueillir 10 personnes et en descendant 3 marches, on accède à un grand salon d’été très confortable. La piscine dispose d’une belle plage et est en pente douce, ce qui est idéal pour les enfants. La cuisine extérieure est ultra équipée : plancha, barbecue, évier, lave-vaisselle, frigo, toilette ! Et que dire du jardin ! On pourrait parler d’un parc disposant même d’un hamac. Nous y reviendrons à coup sûr !
