Sea view, comfortable house in Loguivy-de-la-Mer, near Paimpol

We were met at the property by Gwen, who only spoke French, but as I did too, that was fine. She showed us around and was very helpful. The cottage had everything we needed except towels which I had forgotten about, so we had to buy some! It was a bit quirky, with part of the main bedroom given over to a shower and sink, but we tended to use the other one downstairs, which was fine. The property has a lovely garden at the back which is quite secluded, with an area for sitting out and a BBQ. There is also a parking bay by the side of the house, which was very handy.The coastal views on the way downhill to the village are breathtaking. There are lots of beautiful walks along the coast, easily accessed from the house. It is the most beautiful and interesting (geologically) coastline and unlike anything I have seen before (in UK)We seem to have arrived in this part of Brittany before the tourist season was in full swing, so lots of places were still closed, but that didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves. Our host, Sebastian, met us on the day of our departure and was charming.We had a great week exploring the north coast from this comfortable cottage - even though the weather was rather colder and windier than we had expected!

Une semaine ne suffit pas pour visiter cette magnifique région. Les sentiers côtiers, une végétation luxuriante, petits villages de caractère, en un mot, il faut revenir. Nous avons apprécié la visite en fin de séjour des propriétaires, charmants en l'occurrence. Leur maison en pierres est très agréable, et la vue sur mer un régal.

Besser geht es nicht. Wir waren mittlerweile das zweite Mal da - alles perfekt!

Wir haben in diesem geschmackvoll restauriertem Haus eine entspannte Woche verbracht. Alles sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Sehr sympathischer Vermieter.

Aufwendig renoviertes Fischerhäuschen mit Lage auf einem Plateau, von dem man einen grandiosen Ausblick auf die von Felsen durchsetzte, wunderschöne bretonische Küste hat. Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen. Der kleine Hafenort ist in der Zeit bis Mitte Juli noch sehr ruhig. Kleiner Sandstrand in 5 Min. bergab zu erreichen und auch für Kinder schön.
