Sea views from a beautiful building, ideally located in Cassis near the harbour

wonderful, relaxing, just great

The apartment is exactly as shown in the announcement. It is well-kept, tidy, clean, and provides everything you need (including rackets for table-tennis, or beach-parasol). The 2nd bedroom does not have a window. It is located in a nice older compound with pool and other amenities. The table-tennis amenities are a bit run-down. The compound sits at the top of Cassis with a 15 minute steep walk down to the Bestouan beach. Towels and bed-sheets are not provided by the well-organized and nice host but can be ordered in advance for an extra fee. We really enjoyed our stay in Cassis but in hindsight we should have brought some swim-shoes. If you arrive by public transport keep in mind that Cassis station is well out of town and getting around using only public transport sometimes requires patience because of delays or skipped bus connections.

Lovely apartment in a quiet complex, a short (though steep!) climb up from Cassis (~15 minutes). There's a quite large pool, water is not too cold. Nearby indoors are pingpong tables. There's a tennis court, but we didn't try it. The apartment is two bedrooms, with a beautiful view on to Cap Canaille. We found the apartment very well stocked, induction stove. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Communication was prompt. Jacques, who manages the property, quickly replaced a fan when it broke down and was very helpful. All in all, this is a great place at a reasonable price -- highly recommended.

"The apartment is situated in the pleasant residence with a big pool and the parking place in the calm part of Cassis. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped accommodation with everything needed for perfect holiday. In the apartment there is also lots of useful information and books. We loved the large terrace with amazing view over Cap Canaille and the sea which is especially beautiful in sunrise. It is possible to reach the sea and many restaurants in the nice port of Cassis in 10-15 minutes by foot also the famous Calanques is in walking distance from the apartment. The owner Jean Francois is very helpful, he answered all our questions very quickly and fully, there is very good organization of a meeting and departure. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this apartment."

We have just returned from a week at M Roville's very pleasant apartment in the Terre Marines complex in Cassis. It is exactly as depicted in the photos - very bright, clean and comfortable. We found the bed to be a little uncomfortable but that is a personal thing. The linens and towels provided were good quality. The kitchen is very well equipped, if lacking somewhat in counter space - this is only a problem if you love to cook, as we do! We managed, however, and enjoyed several lovely meals on the patio with a view of the Med and Cap Canaille which is spectacular in the evening. All the amenities listed were available and in good working order with complete instructions for use. The Terre Marine complex itself is very nice and well maintained with lovely landscaping. The pool and tennis courts are first class (would have liked the pool to be available a little earlier than 10am, however). 10-15 min walk into Cassis - bit of a pull up the hill coming back! M Roville was very pleasant and easy to deal with and everything from the contract to the deposit transfer was handled professionally. The agent on site was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very relaxing holiday and Cassis is a beautiful and picturesque little town. There is a good local fruit and veg roadside market just out of town, on the road to Carnoux, and 2 good supermarkets in Carnoux itself. The local marche provencal in Cassis on Wednesday is one of the best we have been to. Marseille is within easy reach on the beautiful Gineste road.

Further to my previous review, I would say the apartment would be a very tight squeeze for 4-5 people. We found it perfect for the 2 of us. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 small children but more than that would not be comfortable.

We stayed for one week with our two children who loved the pool. It has a guard and three palms if you like to have some shadow. The lovely harbor side and the beach are in 15 minutes reach. It was nice to have breakfast in the loggia and enjoy the great view over the bay. Absolutely recommendable.

The appartment itself is very comfortable and there is definitely room enough for 4 persons. From the terrace you have a splendid view. We can definitely recommend spending your holidays there."
