Séjour chic à La Défense

There's no air conditioning

The place was spacious with a great view. It provided all the amenities and it was clean. The location for getting the keys was not on the premise itself but close, and the host was flexible during checkout, which was appreciated. The setup of the apartment is ideal for a couple or a single guest, but also comfortable for more by using the sofa bed since the living room is quite big. Overall no unpleasant surprises and the location was awesome, real close to many of the office buildings and also to the La Defense Grand Arche.

Pleasant stay, clean flat throughout. Responsive and pleasant host, quiet and friendly neighbourhood. I recommend and will be back.

😢: Very disappointed. No working heating system in the apartment, which makes it too cold to relax. Was promised a heater during my stay, which never happened. Was denied an early check in of 30 min, because of “house cleaning”, but couldn’t see what they had cleaned more than made the bed and put in new towels. The side of the sofa is completely broken and just hangs on the side (so no support for pillows) and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. We had to sleep on the wrong side for “better” comfort, which gave us no space to stretch our legs out. It’s time to buy a new one. Apartment key is annoyingly hard to turn. Takes us a too long moment to open up. Note that toilet has no sink, you have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. 5 ml of hand soap, which is in a big empty bottle & used toilet roll from previous guests, not a pleasant view as a new guest. Same goes for the body wash. No kitchen towels. Overall this place is not charming or chic at all and makes you think the owner cares more for the income and has little to no interest to make it comfortable for guests. The only positive things that remains is easy access to get the keys and close to a metro station..

Only comments were: - the strange smell in the corridors of the building - the difficulty in sorting the rubbish. - I would have paid more attention to the cleanliness of the windows and sheets.
