Single-storey villa, 50 metres from the beach, with enclosed grounds

My wife, daughter, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed an excellent week at Gilles & Anne Marie's house. The location next to Utah Beach is amazing and perfect if you have a dog or are a beach lover. The house is also a perfect base for exploring Normandy's numerous WW2 sites. The house was clean and well equipped, whilst the owners were very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Our only criticism is the wifi in the house is very slow (around 1.9 mbps), which is not enough for making video calls & streaming. Our mobile signals were poor, so we relied on the wifi for connectivity, but it struggled much beyond checking emails and browsing online. This may be an issue for anyone needing to work. We would be happy to stay here again and I recommended the house.

We had a very nice stay. The holiday home is very well furnished and is located directly on the dune just a few steps from the sea.

From the moment we booked to leaving communication from the host Ann Marie was superb, very efficient and accommodating. The gite is perfect, extremely clean, spacous, well equipped kitchen with good comfortable beds and an excellent shower. Great location for the D-Day landings and further afield. We had a great holiday in a very quiet and serene location. Thank you.

We really enjoyed staying a week in the house. Much entertainment for our two boys. Every evening we walked to the museum, where the boys would play on the landing craft situated outside the museum, and then walked back along the beach watching the tide. In the house there were toys for the beach and garden. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
