Small gîte in the heart of nature near Quimper and Locronan

This well equipped but simply furnished fire is off the beaten track, but the drive in is well maintained and no problem for our small car. It’s a very peaceful spot and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding woods and river valley. There’s a great range of maps and guides at the gite and The owner was very kind and brought English guides for local sites. Quimper is only a short drive away, with many restaurants, museums etc. The Super U and excellent boulangerie at Plogonnec, 10 minutes away, made grocery shopping very easy.

L'impossibilité d'avoir des activités sans utiliser la voiture nous a pesé. Le manque d'êtres humains alentours aussi, pour nous les voyages ne sont pas concevables sans rencontres

Belle location au calme , très bien pour se ressourcer et bien située pour les visites

A slightly unusual but desirable property, ideal for two people. Located in a very private location with plenty of outside space. Well equipped and very clean and tidy. Good supermarkets a short drive away. A car is essential. There is no WiFi at this property and phone/ mobile data signal is essentially absent ( a short 5 minute walk up the driveway approach seemed to remedy this).No WiFi may be desirable to some, undesirable to others depending on personal preference. The host was very pleasant and welcoming with plenty of advise on where to visit/ shop etc. We found this very useful and helped us find some beautiful places. If you want a true “ getting away from it all “experience then this is a good contender.
