South-west chateau de Porthos holidays bearn and basque country up to 14 people

This is actually where Porthos from "The Three Musketeers" lived. Pascal and Valerie were wonderful hosts. Before even arriving they sent us infromation about the area with a detail list of activities. We were 3 families totaling 13 people. The 2 kitchens are fully equipped to host way more than 13 people. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The teenagers spent a lot of time in the basement level playing foosball and pool while the younger children hung out in the living room. There is no need for air conditioning since the house gets cool at night with the windows opened and stays cool throuhout the day. We sepnt a lot of time on their beautiful patio sipping wine and enjoying local cheese admiring the amazing view. This was such a memorable place. We would stay here again.
