😊: The apartment itself was lovely — very clean, comfortable, and with a well-stocked kitchen. However, the on-the-ground support during our stay was disappointing. On arrival, we had been given outdated instructions for collecting the keys, which meant we picked up the wrong set and were delayed getting into the apartment by around 45 minutes. When we raised this, the response felt unhelpful rather than reassuring. We also had issues with the television, which stopped working on the second day. Although we contacted the agent and sent photos as requested, the issue was never resolved during our stay. Communication was sporadic, with messages asking if we were in, but no clear plan to fix it. We had also been told there would be a fan in the apartment, but there wasn’t one. Given that France was under a severe heat alert at the time, this made sleeping very difficult. When we followed up, we were eventually told one could not be sourced. Overall, the apartment was very nice, but the support locally was poor. We were left feeling as though we were being a nuisance for raising basic issues around access, the TV, and the fan, rather than being helped as paying clients.. 😢: See above.

😊: Well-equipped, large 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment (with third WC and washer/dryer), comfortable, nice furniture. Big windows, each with small terrace overlooking the street below. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice, comfortable and spacious. Close to busses, funicular and train station. The apartment furnishings were much better than your average IKEA-furnished places.. 😢: Had to take a bus outside the city centre to pick up the keys..

😊: Really impressive apartment. Large rooms with great en suite facilities. Very clean. Superb location on a quiet street but just a short walk from the shops and restaurants and attractions such as the castle. Great bakery at the end of the street..
