Excellent. We could walk to many stores and restaurants and to the centre of Avignon. The complex key system with electronic locks with pass codes was a bit difficult at first but we soon learned how to use it

Superb<br>#128578; Comfortable beds, lovely lounge/ diner, tasteful decor, great location, near the University and close to interesting cafés, bars and small theatres. We would book again!<br>#128577; Loo very small and opening directly to the kitchen area. Not ideal but also not as bad as it may sound. ;-) Entrance hallway to the building not lit very well, esp as your eyes adjust from bright sunshine.. Communal stairs had two broken steps (wobbly tiles) that caused us to slip a couple of times, but luckily no injuries. However, it is an old building so you should expect some of these things alongside the charm of staying inside Avignon's old city walls.

Situated on quiet street inside old-city walls, 15-18 minutes walk from all places of interest, and same walking time from free parking at Italiens blvrd. You can walk there or take a free bus to get to your parking slot. Then, whole the Provence is yours. The apartment is clean and airy, surprisingly spacious. Beds are good and comfortable. We never tried sofa to sleep on, so no comment on it. The owner, Frederic is friendly and responsive. Apartment ...<br>#128577; Nothing really notable. If you are a nit-picker The stair is narrow (which is usual for medieval and even modern french cities). If you have some bulky luggage, you should be cautious climbing and descending that steps. But good new is, it's only one level to climb to and stair is straight, not сockle-stairs type. Again, this is just nit-picking and we saw many worse cases in other locations:)
