Spacieux Cottage pour 5 personnes, et bien équipées salle de jeux jardin ensoleillé

We had a great time there. The hosts accommodated all of our requests and even installed a gate at the stairs to ensure the safety of our children. However, the game room is not really usable and should definitely be removed from the listing.

The property is exactly as described, cosy and very well equipped. Special mention of the playhouse with the darts and ping-pong game ! It is also perfectly located in Normandie, one hour driving from the main touristic spots. We strogly recommand it for your holidays.

There is room enough for five people. Living room and kitchen are well equipped with TV, wifi, receivers, oven, washing mashine and dish washer. Garden and game room were in a rather poor condition, the whole object needs some repair. The small town of Sourdeval-les-Bois is very calm, supermarkets are located in about 7 km distance. Without a car you are lost. But there are many interesting places around that can be visited, i.e. Mont Saint-Michel and Granville. In general, we had a good time.

The location is perfect if you want to stay in a peaceful environment far from chaos but close to Mont Saint Michel and the coast around Granville. The house is nice, maybe needs some restore especially the bathroom, but well equipped and comfortable. We had a great time there!

This lovely Gite is superbly located for exploring Normandy and Brittany. It is really well equipped for families with children and the games room is fantastic with pool, table tennis and darts all available. It is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, the seaside town of Granville and the fantastic Mont St Michel. The local towns have some great patisseries and local produce restaurants. The Gite is well equipped with all you need for a great family holiday. It also makes a great base for a cycling holiday with lovely scenery, quiet roads and some testing climbs! The service from the owners before our stay was really friendly with lots of advice on local amenities and the purple folder on site gives you lots of information on local shops and restaurants and things to do. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a lovely week's family holiday in Normandy at The Old Forge, La Chevallerie, Sourdeval-les-Bois. A small gite, but had everything we needed. Lovely quiet location, well-placed for visiting various sights (from the very busy Mont Saint Michel to the peaceful quiet of Abbaye de Hambye). The games room would be great for older kids, but our young two just loved the trampoline in the garden. The weather was fabulous, and we ate breakfast on the patio every day! The only really tiny nitpick (which might by now already have been addressed!) would be for a more comfy sofa to lounge on in the evenings.
