Spacious cocoon close to the beach

😊: The location was very nice and convenient. The apartment was, in overall, very good with a nice outlook to a garden and a touristic street. Having two ACs was very needed due to a very hot weather. The flat is well equipped with all necessary amenities (cutlery, washing mashing, tableware, many pillows, etc.) Overall, it is a nice and pleasant place to stay.. 😢: One bed had no bedsheets, and they were nowhere to find; the existing ones were not very clean. Some elements (e.g., floor in the shower cabin, some walls, microwave) are worn out and need repair..

😊: Very central location, the apartment is spacious, very well appointed and comfortable.. 😢: Not a problem for us but some may want to know that it’s a 3rd floor walk-up. Located on a busy pedestrian street so no close parking..

😊: -nothing exceptional. 😢: The accommodation has multiple issues which are carefully hidden from you during booking and at the beginning of your stay. Now I start to doubt the few positive opinions they got, it doesn’t seem real after what we have experienced. -The flat is in a bad shape. The paint is falling off the walls, furniture is old, the shower falls on you because it’s attached on a tape. Smell is bad and they try to cover it with some perfumes. But it doesn’t look that bad when you compare it with the rest of the building. The entrance look like taken from horror movie set - I’m not exaggerating. -We were forced to use some third party website for deposit „or we lost all the money we paid” when it was too late to cancel. Then some extra charges were applied which were not mentioned anywhere. -Communication with the property is a huge issue. They use chatbot at booking and the local contact you get has no connection to the information which you have already provided via booking, what’s frustrating. She also doesn’t speak (or is not willing to speak)English. -We were told, that we don’t need to clean the flat BUT then we got a long list of tasks to complete before checkout which basically didn’t include only doing the laundry. Interesting enough, there were all chemicals for cleaning provided, but we got like no soap, ONE toilet paper roll for the week, for three people.Joke. -On our departure, we provided the property (as per their request) the exact time we want to leave to hand over the keyes. We loaded and start the dishwasher, collected the laundry, segregated the trash - we were asked to throw it away, but we’re not instructed where, when and how (city has some local system, seemingly calendar based). On agreed time nobody showed up so after some waiting we left the keys in the locker as on our arrival and left not to loose the connection back home. Here the „funny” part starts, our host Julia texted us the next day accusing us inna rude way(…).

😊: Such a lovely place to stay at. It’s perfect for families but of course also for anyone else. We were absolutely happy to be here and certainly would consider to come back. Great communication from the very beginning. Everything’s smooth and an absolute recommendation.. 😢: We think that the linen and towels could be included in the price. 😉 We brought our own though and that was totally fine. Perhaps that’s how it simply is in France. No critics here at all..
