Spacious house with large garden in the Périgord countryside near the Dordogne beach

A perfect little house so the everything you need for a wonderful holiday. We used the base as a house for a wedding at the local Chateau.

We had a lovely stay. The Dordogne is a beautiful part of France and your property is perfectly situated to explore the area. The house was perfect for our needs - it had plenty of space for everyone(3 adult children, my wife, me and our small dog) was well appointed and in a peaceful area. Christiane gave us a warm welcome and farewell. She made us feel at home. The only downside were the mosquitoes - but this obviously is not your fault! We would gladly choose to stay again with you and would love to explore the Dordogne again, possibly outside of high season. Thank you for letting us stay at your property. I have just spent 8days at this properly with family (6 adults/ 4 primary aged children) as we had a wedding nearby. The house itself is a good size with a lovely garden/ orchard at the back. The table tennis table in the basement was well used and enjoyed by the children. It is advertised as sleeping 10 people. On booking I didn’t realise that 2 of those people would have to sleep on child Zbeds on the floor. The children on the floor didn’t sleep very well as a result but it was ok - definitely not a property for 10 adults though! Communication with the property manager was great both before arrival and during when we needed bedding getting out for the Zbeds. It was very hot at times during the stay (over 40degrees) but we were unable to leave the bedroom windows/ shutters open to get air in overnight due to the mosquitoes. Air con would’ve been hugely beneficial but I appreciate that it isn’t always this hot! Overall a great stay. Would recommend canoeing down the Dordogne from Quercyland aquapark - for €22pp we canoed about 5miles down the river and that ticket includes entrance to the water park. It’s fairly basic but the children loved it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is a lovely big and well equipped house were our 3 families spent 2 weeks together to explore the beautiful Dordogne. I can definately recommend this property and the friendly and helpful owner Anne. Thanks for a super holiday!
