Spacious villa with private swimming pool

Lovely house with excellent views. Private, although surrounded by other houses, not overlooked. Close to town and all amenities. Well looked after by the managers Birgit and Frank. Very happy with our stay here.

Mooi en groot huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne tuin, lekker zwembad, prachtig uitzicht. Op een afgesloten kamertje boven gaat in de avond automatisch licht aan, dat is de eerste keer even schrikken. De tweepersoonsbedden zijn wel aan een nieuwe matras toe. En in het hoogseizoen betaalden we een flinke prijs voor het huis, om dan ook nog extra te moeten betalen voor bedlinnen en handdoeken vonden we nogal overdreven.

Heerlijk huis met alle gemakken. Schoon en gezellig ingericht. Het heeft zowel goede verwarming als koeling. De tuin in prachtig en heg uitzicht onbetaalbaar

The house is very comfortable and spacy. It is located beautifully high up in the city Limoux with the most wonderful view over Limoux and the mountains. Very quiet location. The sunrise is spectacular especially when viewed from the 1st floor. The house has everything you need - the kitchen is well equipped. If you rent bed linen and towels you get plenty of towels - both for showering and for the pool. We received lots of information and instructions before we arrived and when we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Birgit who is responsible for the house on behalf of the owners. Birgit is really doing a great job. She was very careful about explaining lots of practical and useful details to us. She also takes care of the cleaning - it is a big house but everything was 110% clean. We felt very welcome and at home from the moment we met Birgit and the house. Frank is taking care of the pool and many other things…. He is also very helpful. We were very sad when our stay was over - we really enjoyed our vacation!

The house and the location are great! There is a lot of privacy to enjoy the pool or to have breakfast or dinner outside and the view is super. The hosts are very nice and will help you with any question. For a house in this price range you’d expect better beds. The doubles are small sizes and the frame of our bed was so bad we put the matrass on the floor in the end. That did the trick and we slept fine…

mooi uitzicht, lekker verfrissend zwembad, leuk onthaal en goede uitleg. volledige verduistering mogelijk met rolluik. enig minpunt, paraplu's zijn aan vervanging toe maar dit verblijf is een aanrader. Heel lekkere bakker op 2-3 km. auto 5min, en lekker groot wijnhandelaar op 3-4 km, blanquette de limoux

De aankomst verliep heel vlot. Birgit is een zeer vriendelijke, joviale vrouw die duidelijk uitleg geeft bij alle faciliteiten. Er was een flesje bubbels aanwezig in de koelkast om ons te verwelkomen. Ook de hondenkoekjes werden door ons enorm geapprecieerd. De accommodatie is ruim en heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Via de tv kan je eigen shows streamen. Er was een welkomstpakket om af te wassen en de woning was proper. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je geen extra kosten moet maken. Het zwembad is groot en perfect voor de warme dagen. Het enige minpunt vonden we de kwaliteit van de bedden. Eén van de kamers op de bovenverdieping was afgesloten. s'Avonds ging hier telkens de verlichting aan. De eerste avond was dit toch eventjes verschieten. De stad Limoux vonden we zelf niet zo aangenaam. We voelden ons niet veilig. Er zijn ook weinig bezienswaardigheden. De ligging is wel ideaal om andere plaatsen te bezoeken.

Dit huis is fantastisch. Ruim, modern, goed ingerichte keuken, woonkamer en slaapkamers. En een geweldig uitzicht. Limoux is een levendige plaats, met meerdere restaurants en terrasjes. Het ligt op loopafstand, maar dan is het wel een flinke klim terug. Carcassonne is binnen een half uur te bereiken met de auto, of zelfs per trein (bij vooruit boeken voor 1 euro pp).
