Spacious Villa with secure private pool, 7 bedrooms all with shower rooms

Fantastic property. Clean and exceptionally well maintained.Pool is outstanding, easily the best private pool.ive ever experienced.. do not be put off by it being salt water, its barely noticeable. We loved it.The addition of La petite folie has taken the property to another level, especially if travelling with family. The grounds were all immaculate and well looked after. The perfect villa for a large family.

Really nice big house. Old features combined with modern glass en high ceilings. Nice, big garden. And nice seating area outside. Bbq is neat. Pool is nice and warmed and enough seats around it. Had a lovely time here

The Gite was everything and more than expected. So well equipped, clean, spacious, amazing grounds and fabulous pool. My grandson has an allergic reaction to chlorine so he was in his element to be able to be in the saline pool with no ill effects. Julia was absolute lovely and so helpful. The beds comfy and so much room inside and outside. Highly recommend. There were three generations staying and we all absolutely loved the peace and quiet and a thorough relaxing holiday.

We had the most incredible time at the gite. A large group of friends and their children had a holiday together and we had a fabulous time! The swimming pool was perfect and really safely gated. There was a very secure gate which only adults could really open which gave an extra sense of security. The swimming pool was gorgeous. It was the perfect size for the whole party and there was also a smaller paddling pool which was perfect for little children who cannot swim. This would warm up in the sunshine which was such a treat for the little ones. The garden is beautiful and expensive and there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their own thing. We really enjoyed the ping-pong table and the little playground. The location is very peaceful and beautiful and there’s a local river which had the possibility of canoeing and local horse stables as well. Julia was a wonderful host and she was so responsive. On a few occasions we needed her input and she was very patient with us and kind. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home and for giving us a holiday that we will always remember. Eyes

Beautiful gite with plenty of room for everyone, indoor and outdoor. The pool was perfect for the children with a lockable gate to keep the youngest safe. Would have benefited from a bit more local information but otherwise a great family gathering.

The property is in an excellent location for a brilliant family holiday in a quiet location not far from many attractions for the whole family to enjoy and a couple of hours drive from the coast. Excellent swimming pool and other facilities on site. The hosts Julia & Eric were superb and extremely helpful, definately 5 star all round.

A large well maintained Gite with plenty of room both inside and out for our family of 18 stay. Julia and Eric were immediately on hand to handle the one or two very minor issues that we had. The property is well stocked with all cooking equipment and ancillaries. The beds were firm which meant a good nights sleep for everyone. There isn’t any air conditioning and the bedrooms did get rather warm on a couple of nights. The pool was very good, big enough for all of us to be in there at the same time and our hosts cleaned it on a regular basis. There were also plenty of outside play equipment provided as well which we made use of. The property is in a tiny village but only about 15 minutes drive from the main roads.Overall we had a lovely stay at Le Pontreau and would recommend this Gite to other large family groups looking for a an authentic stay in France.

Beautiful place with a great swimming pool. The area is good for cycling, canoe and to enjoy the calm of countryside. Thank you for Julia and Eric that where always close for any help. Merci beaucoup !
