Standing cottage in Disneyland - Villa

😊: The lounge was nice with lots of seating.. 😢: Bad smell in bathrooms on arrival. Damp smell in house. Peeling paint in kitchen, downstairs bathroom, upstairs window frames, crumbling stairs, rusty pipes. Black mould in window upstairs. Bar-b-q filthy. Tv upstairs not working, socket upstairs not working. Really run down. No hot water on arrival, nor for first 24 hours after arrival. Unable to speak to anyone about issues. The owners only answer by text so lots of waiting for answers. Very stressful. No working hob for two days. kettle was peeling inside and unusable, no microwave..

😊: Close proximity to Disney. 😢: Not child friendly. Loose electrical wall plugs, lack of fire alarms, no safety glass in half glazed doors. Lots of easy reachable breakable objects which we had to remove for safety. Garden unkempt. Vehicle access very tight, suitable for smaller cars. Would have been good to have been forewarned. Huge safety deposit required..

😊: Spacious house. Near to Disney. 😢: The communication on the day of arrival was non-existent. This caused us the most stress. We had 6 children in our party and on day of arrival there was no Internet and no communication was available with host or management company. There was no book for finding out any information about the house or the area. Although there is a bus stop outside there was no information on how to get the bus or buy tickets. We could not find anything which was very stressful. The Internet meant no television or access for the children's i-pads. Previous reviews state the same issues, floors were not clean, limited kitchen equipment, no information about how the kitchen equipment worked or where supermarkets were and the entrance to the property with our cars was a logistical nightmare. Eventually we went straight to Booking.com who were helpful..

😊: The place is spacious to host 11 persons with a long dinner table that we enjoy sitting and having a good meal with each other!. 😢: There are only two toilets in the house and it is a little insufficient for 11 persons. Further the toilets does not have sufficient ventilation! It was raining when we were there and it could a good to have a door mate at the entrance door..

A lot of space for a big company. You can feel authentic French countryside atmosphere and go to Paris or Disneyland from here.<br>#128577; A little bit dusty, some door handles were damaged, weird smell in the mansard. You need to be really skilled driver to get into the narrow gates. Some basic things like coffee capsules, salt, washing powder, extra toilet paper would be great to find and not to buy for a couple of days staying. The cottage has only two toilets and you need to go downstairs to use it. For such a big house it is not enough.
