Stay late summer. Charming, cozy eco-gîte. Edge of Rance.

A nicely designed and comfortable barn conversion with good facilities and equipment. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for four. Pleasant outside seating area in an attractive setting. The shower needs some attention to repair the height adjustment and care is needed on the very steep stairs. Internet connection can be slow. Good directions to the gite but some information about recycling, local restaurants etc would have been nice. (The lack may be because our host was unable to be there when we were).

Kate is very friendly and the House is very Lovely. The surrounding is nice and you can visit Dinan, Dinard, Saint-Malo perfectly . The beds were comfortable and the House ist very clean. Perhaps we will visit this Place again. Julia and Mathias Weidner

Perfect location and gite for a very relaxing holiday! Garden is joyful! Easy drive to all locations within 20-30 mins! Lovely village location within walking distance. Where we found a great boulangerie, grocery, shop, Italian restaurant. Wonderful views of River with a restaurant on the quay. Kate, the perfect amazing host.

Die Gite von Kate und Mark sind liebevoll hergerichtete Oasen der Ruhe und Entspannung. Unweit von Cancale und St. Malo haben wir hier zwei idyllische Wochen verlebt. Sehr, sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage zum Erkunden der östlichen Bretagne,einschließlich ihrer Küste. Das charment ausgebaute Felssteinhaus mit großem Garten hat alles geboten, was wir für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigten. Kate war stets mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle. Wir werden wiederkommen .

Stilvoll restauriertes Haus, sehr sauber, sehr ruhig, ein großes Gartengrundstück zum Erholen auf dem Liegestuhl unter Walnußbäumen. Die Vermieterin ist ausgesprochen nett und hat uns ganz besondere Tipps zur Erkundung der Region gegeben. Wir haben uns bei Kate sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne eines Tages wieder.

We LOVED our 10 day stay in this cottage. We found this absolutely charming cottage to be comfortably and tastefully furnished. Set in a gorgeous, private, expansive garden filled with flowers, trees, and the sounds of birds, it was both a wonderful place in which to wake up and a wonderful place to return each day. We found the location perfect for easy day trips to Dinan, San Malo, villages and sites both along the coast and along the Rance river. We loved being able to walk down to the port for dinner and/or sunsets and also being so close to the village (great boulangerie/patisserie!) Kate was a warm, engaging and helpful host. We cannot imagine being happier any where else and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this magical spot.

Kate is a wonderful host. Very comfortable gite with all the amenities you need. The garden is beautiful which was full of birds and we saw a red squirrel darting across the lawn right in front of us. We also loved the pet goat. The area is perfect for visiting different towns in the region and is good for walking too. Easy walk into the little village Pleudihen-sur-Rance and to the beach where there is a resident seal. Wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended!
