STONE CHALET 6 pers. ORELLE - SKI VAL THORENS + hiking/m.biking

The chalet itself was amazing, with great amenities and thoughtful finishes. Paolo was extremely helpful.For the downside, parking was not always available meaning needing to park the car quite far away.We were there on a week of extreme snowfall, which meant that the connection between Orelle and Val Thorens was shut most of the week ! This made skiing very limiting. There’s nothing else to do in Orelle, which is a shame.

Great chalet, clean and well equipped, excellent location, easy parking, short trip down the hill to the gondola station. Short (but steep walk) to the small local shop for fresh bread/croissants. Yes, as per earlier reviews, it is quite dark inside the chalet, but you get used to it. ***bedding and towels/tea towels are not included. We didn’t realise this until the day before we left home. This does create a weight problem with flying. There wasn’t a duvet set for the sofa bed disappointingly, even though we had booked for 5 people. No Wi-Fi, but not an issue for us. A fabulous chalet with friendly hosts, would definitely recommend (if you have space/allowance to take bedding/towels with you).

A lovely chalet just a short drive from the Orelle lift. It was good to stay in a small hamlet and an individual chalet (and a pleasant change to stay somewhere not enirely furnished from IKEA!) Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for unpacking clothes etc. When we stayed there was no snow around the property so we had no problem reaching it by car or walking from the parking to the chalet. The only downside was the chalet was quite dark inside when the shutters to the first floor glass doors were closed. Otherwise good place to stay and much better than the hameau just down the road!

We had a nice stay, really nice appartement, taseful decorated, fully equipped, only 5 minutes by car to the skilift, easy parking at the skilift. Point of attention: there is no WiFi at the appartement.

House was perfectly appointed. Little kitchen, comfortable living area and two bedrooms. Shower and bathroom excellent. Well shuttered so keeps cool in heat of summer (32-36 every day this stay) Peaceful village and great local walks, runs and rides. No local shops but not far to St Michel or Modane both have excellent supermarkets and other shops. A perfect stay, thank you.
