Stone Cottage with Pool & EV charger - heart of Burgundy/Champagne countryside

The cottage is a beautifully designed traditional stone house in the calm French countryside. Apart from the elegant interior with the cozy fireplace and lots of natural wood, the architecture of the house allowed us to enjoy a holiday together while having individual places of retreat. The kitchen and the outside bbq set you up for preparing lovely food. The village itself is rather small and quiet, but the trout farm willprovife perfectly fresh fish. Apart from that the scenic surroundings invite you to long walks. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic couple of weeks in this lovely property. The house is very well equipped, superbly located and offers a great place to unwind and get away from it all. Charlotte is a fantastic host providing massive amounts of useful information, responds to questions very promptly and nothing seems like too much trouble.

This is a typical French country house with a nice touch of British style. It is spacious with a large garden and simple but effective pool. We appreciated the outdoor fridge on the porch and the shed with a freezer, complete kitchen and two bathrooms. It does get hot in the attick but every room has a fan. It is a very quiet place, great to get away from daily life. Shops and activities are a bit of a drive to get to, nature is there in abundancy. Communication with the owner via Whatsapp was pleasant and very quick.

The charming property lies at the edge of a small village (so a car essential). Very peaceful - lovely a quiet. Dark nights and no light pollution so great seeing the bats etc. The cottage itself was well presented and gave great flexibility of space. Sadly the weather wasn’t kind for our stay but the space allowed 3 teens ample room not to annoy each other! Rooms simply and rustically decorated. We found the accommodation well equipped (although we had to get the instructions out to use the oven). The swimming pool kept the boys entertained and the lovely wrap-around garden meant when that sun did shine you could follow it. The wet weather did hinder some of our plans but we all enjoyed the wonderful visit to Troyes and even driving to the supermarkets (which we varied) we loved the beautiful countryside. Overall we loved our stay and would love to visit again if possible. The accommodation and our hosts were very welcoming. Recommended

Beautiful cottage, quiet location. Very well equipped and comfortable. Such lovely character. The pool, bbq and outdoor seating area made for a relaxing stay.

A great spot for a relaxing holiday escape: beautiful garden, on the edge of a quiet village, surrounded by farming countryside. The interior of the house is somewhat dated but everything you need for a holiday stay is there.

We returned a few days ago from a wonderful two weeks at Mont Remin Cottage, which is everything it says on the website and more. Very spacious, comfortable, well equipped - in fact, everything you want of a home from home on holiday. The second double room with ensuite and dressing area is self-contained, giving welcome privacy to our student son. Tammie the dog loved the spacious garden, especially enjoying the shade beneath the lavendar bushes. The countryside around Veuxhaulles-sur-Aube is beautiful and varied, with plenty of enjoyable and interesting walks. Very grateful for generous welcome pack on arrival after 5hr drive from Calais and thanks to Charlotte for even booking Tammie in with the vet in Chatillon for return journey. Heartily recommend Mont Remin Cottage for long or short stay.

We spent a very relaxing week here. A real home from home with everything you need including a toaster! (very rare in French properties). We visited Troyes and rented a little boat on Lac Amance - great fun. A dog's paradise with so many lovely walks on your doorstep. If you are looking for a quiet escape from it all, we recommend this place.
