Stone house with terrace in typical mountain village on GR 54

Maison très agréable à vivre pour un WE entre amis. Plus d'équipements que ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce, bonne surprise. Propriétaires sympathiques et arrangeants. Merci encore !

Le gîte est placé au coeur du village, parfaitement adapté pour loger des groupes importants. 5 chambres à disposition, 2 salles de bain et 2 WC. Un vaste séjour et cuisine en adéquation avec le nombres de lits proposés. Excellent état du bâtiment du mobilier et des équipements. Propreté irréprochable, Logeur sympathique, accommodant. On reviendra.

The property is set in a high mountain top location, so if you don't mind either jumping on your bike or driving your car to get to civilisation then no problem. Whilst here are a few restaurants nearby, they we're not over helpful when it came to either getting a meal or booking one unfortunately? The property itself is lovely, very homely and if like us your into your cycling then you are set for one fair trip everyday. The property had plenty of living space for everyone to use. Would I recommend it, certainly would. It's certainly "out there" if you want to get away from the world for a period of time then this is your stop!

Georgette is an excellent host. She met us in the village of Besse and took us to the property which was charming and a lot more spacious then shown in her photos on HomeAway. The kitchen was very well equipped and the property was so well located that we also ate out 2 nights in the very friendly local restaurant. We did brilliant walks from the house and Georgette also gave us some good recommendations. She also kindly let us not worry about a strict check out time on our last day which we were very grateful for. Overall - the stay was excellent. My two sons were wanting wifi - but we could access it from the Tourist Office or the restaurant. Thanks again Georgette

We had a marvellous stay in Besse! We stayed in this chalet for 2 weeks in January and enjoyed our stay. The description was accurate, in fact the chalet was even more spacious than we expected. It was spacious enough for 9-10 people. The chalet was very nice, clean and had everything we needed: the bedrooms were of a good size and the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped to suit our needs. The chalet is in the perfect location - beautiful Mountainous landscape, friendly people, quiet, clean, safe and only 25 minutes from the Les2Alpes! The owners of the chalet, Georgette and Pierre are very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend to others and will book this chalet again :)
