😢: The listing on Booking.com doers not accurately describe the property. The overall impression is of everything being done on the cheap with scant attention paid to the quality of the visitor stay. No instructions available on how to access the building. If you know about these things you use the small brown unlabelled ‘fob’. No Wifi code or identifier supplied. Therefore, Wifi as not available. No outdoor dining area despite being offered in the description. No coffee maker supplied despite being offered in the description. No chocolate of guests despite being offered in the description. No iron supplied despite being offered in the description. No drying rack for clothing despite being offered in the description. No hand sanitiser despite being offered in the description. The kettle did not work / was broken. No plug for the kitchen sink. The bed quilt and pillows were thin and of the cheapest supermarket variety. Unhygienic dirty marks and finger prints on both sides of the bathroom door. The middle window shutter would not close. The mechanism was broken. The ceiling smoke alarm on the ceiling was missing. The kitchen is barely adequately supplied. No frying pan. No small pan. One kitchen knife is unusable. Needs replacing. Plates and glasses chipped. TV remote control – unresponsive. It was impossible to find the waste bins for the building. The area can be very noisy in the night with trains arriving and departing, shouting and disruption on the street from drunks, and ‘boy-racers’ in loud cars tearing up and down the road at high speed. I emailed the owner about the rubbish but I never received a reply. “I cannot find the poubelle en bas. I went to the RC then I climbed some concrete steps which were very dirty and the smell was terrible. Then I went into a cage but there were no bins there. I went back down the concrete steps but there was no handle on the door. I was effectively trapped. This was a horrible experience..

😊: very cool location, in the middle of the city, near the railway station. Confy place, key pick-up was a little upside-down - the locker for the key was blocked. 😢: all perfect, let me rebook next time round..
