😊: Owner was quick to respond. Easy to park. Very comfortable.. 😢: Connecting to WiFi in flat was not easy as we couldn’t tell which WiFi box was for the flat - so a small info sheet in the flat itself would have been better or simply a label on the box with name..

😊: Good Location.. 😢: Not at all clean, somewhat smokey smell and bathroom as well as some furniture was in bad shape..

😊: Not to far from the station, fast response from the host who let us check in early which we appreciated!. 😢: A little bit humid so we had to have the window open during the night.

😢: We booked this apartment for our vacation in Strasbourg and it was completely unacceptable. The listing promised two bedrooms, but in reality, the apartment was a one-room space with bed, sofa and kitchenette all in the same room. When entering, we immediately noticed a moldy smell and this was the worst part: there was mold on the window, the shower, and the furniture of the bathroom—which not only looked awful (as shown in the photos) and smelled but also poses a serious health risk. We decided to inform booking about the condition of the apartment, as it was not safe to stay the night, and tried to find a solution. Booking contacted the owner, who then contacted us because of the smell. When I told him that the mold was the bigger problem, he wrote that he cleaned and disinfected everything so we should not worry. After three calls from booking the owner didn't propose a solution and insisted on keeping our money, even though the service paid for was not delivered as promised. We decided to checkout and the owner came by to do our checkout. We showed the owner the mold directly during checkout, and he insisted that he had cleaned everything and offered us macaroons as a present instead of compromising for us to at least pay only one or two of the four booked nights as we didn't want to stay in the moldy apartment. This experience was deeply frustrating. We would not recommend staying in this apartment until the bathroom is renovated and completely mold-free..
